Lily walked alone, and heard the music far away, coming from Elliot's garage. She would have stopped by to listen, but ever since the little scene she had with him at the dance....well, she wouldn't stand it, and besides...the name of the band...Pinheads? C'mon! Instead she walked away, fighting tears the whole way.

Elliot plugged his electric guitar and started playing November Rain. As the music went on, he became oblivious to anything else.

Liam was coming back from the nearby Sam Ash, a new skin on his guitar. It now looked like so: img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/0/4/5/588045.jpg . He suddenly stopped when the unmistakable sound of a guitar rang thru his ears. Following the sound of the music, Liam walked over to a garage to see a boy playing. He raised his eyebrows and stood listening, wondering how long it would take for the kid to notice him. He thought he was actually pretty good. |

Elliot sighed when the song finished, and just then he noticed Liam. "Oh. You were listening?"he asked, kind of embarrased.

He grinned sheepishly. "Sorry. To tell the truth, you're actually pretty good. It was...good", he finished, not being able to come up with another word. Instead, he held up his own guitar. "Mind if I join you?"

"Uhm...yeah, why not?"he said happily. Anyways, the rest of the band hadn't showed up yet, and Elliot wasn't exactly patient, so having company wouldn't really be that bad. "Go ahead, man."

Liam smirked, then went to plug in his guitar to he amp. Once he tuned it alright, he looked over at Elliot. "Jump in if you know this." He started the opening riff for The Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Snow", nodding his head to the beat.

Elliot sang a little bit louder. He wasn't really that good, probably Lily would have done better....but he refused to think of that. It was...annoying. So instead he focused on remembering all the lyrics carefully.

He grinned slightly, playing along with the flow of Elliot's voice. People started looking over at them and grinning, soon a whole bunch of people had gathered around Elliot's garage. That only made Liam play better than he was.

Elliot wasn't good with all this people around, but he went on singing, until the song slowly drifted to an end. It was relieving, the song had taken out a lot of stress out of him, and it cleared his mind. "Awesome,"he said under his breath.

The people cheered hysterically, startling Liam a bit even though he expected as much. "Thank you!" he called out, holding up his guitar and getting a little cocky. Then he turned to Elliot. "Hey man, you're pretty good. That was awesome."

Just then, Lily ran into the garage and yelled loudly."HIDE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Elliot gave her a look. "Why..?"he asked. Lily looked up. "He's nearby, just lost him...."she whispered. Elliot guessed she was talking about the guy that had been stalking her. "Go inside,"he commanded.

Liam raised his eyebrows and looked back and forth between Elliot and Lily, completely lost, though he stayed pretty calm about the situation because there were still so many people around them from their little concert-like thing. "Who's nearby?" he asked calmly, playing a few notes softly.

"I tried, but she's too scared to do anything. The poor girl's really traumatized,"he said sighing. There was a brief moment of silence before Elliot's cellphone rang. He read the message Lily had just sent him.
I'm not traumatized, shut the heck up!
Elliot stared in surprise. "And she's got an excellent hearing..."

Liam turned to see Anna and grinned some but that was it seeing as how he didn't really know her all that well. Actually, he didn't know her at all. He put his guitar down and went to check on Lily. "This dude isn't going to go away unless you do something about him personally", he informed her while heading for the kitchen.
