Rehearsing with the Pinheads!!

[Elliot Blackstone]

Elliot walked in. "You're right, Lily. He's just too close, I just saw him in his car. I don't think you can get out of here for a while,"he said sighing. Lily's eyes widened. "But....I was just talking about sueing him!!"she protested. Elliot shook his head. "I'll do that. You can't leave the house,"he insisted taking out his cellphone.

"What'cha doing?"Lily asked him. Elliot sighed. "Calling Nettie, so that she'll look after you,"he answered. Lily glared "Nettie's fifteen. Why does a fifteen year old have to look after me?!"she snapped. Elliot sighed and handed her a chocolate bar that was in his fridge. "Stop complaining,"he warned her.

Liam raised his eyebrows at the thought of a chocolate bar being able to shut someone up. Nevertheless, he picked up his guitar and started playing more notes, though quietly. "No offense, but I doubt a fifteen year old could help right now or know how to react in this kind of situation...unless she's like trained or something."

"I agree,"Lily said, risisng her hand. Elliot gave her a look. "Stop talking and eat your chocolate. I know Nettie's very young, but she's really smart, she knows self defense....and she's the only normal human being I know,"he said shaking his head. He hung up. "She's coming. I'll be right back, okay?"he asked Lily. She gave him a scared look. "Where are you going?"she asked. Elliot smirked. "To the police. You're staying,"he said before leaving.

He didn't say anything for a minute and just went into the kitchen to get something to drink. Coming back with a bottle of water, Liam sat down in a chair and turned to face Lily, trying to open the bottle but it was proving to be too hard for him. "So...this Nettie girl. Is she really as great as that guy says? I mean do you think she can protect you or whatever from your stalker-thing?" He was still struggling with the water bottle.

Lily sighed. "Um...I don't know..."she answered uneasily. "I mean...she's strong and everything...I don't think she'd be able to, though. Nettie's not that brave,"she said, taking the bottle and opening it. "And I think she's supposed to be my watchdog, not my bodyguard anyway,"she muttered.

[Liam Faulkner]

Liam sheepishly smiled his thanks and took back the bottle. He drank some water for a while, then set in on a table and leaned back on the chair until he was balancing on two legs. "Well I mean...do you have any idea why this guy is stalking you?"

Lily gazed down. "Because I rejected him...I knew he was not a good person, so when he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend I said no...and I guess he's mad at me for that...."she said feeling stupid.

[Liam Faulkner]

"Wow...I...don't know what to say to you", he told her rather bluntly before going back to drinking his water.

"That should be a real comfort to me, that's for sure,"Lily said ironically before sinking into silence.

He just blinked at her a couple of times before sighing and putting the water on the table. "It seems like you need to get out and do something. Just go somewhere. Have a good time, y'know. Be a kid."

"I'm not a kid. Mentally I'm about...nineteen or something,"she answered and then glared down at the pattern on the black carpet.

"And physically you're what? Seventeen? Eighteen? I dunno..." He shrugged and stood up, then grabbed the guitar he'd been playing earlier and started playing again. "Quit worrying about this for the time being."

Lily wanted to answer, but the door opened and a small streak of white skin and golden hair came in walking through and hugged her tight. Lily winced. "Um, Nett, you're crushing my lungs..."she choked out. Nettie Blackstone grinned. "Sorry,"she answered. "So, what's up?"

[Liam Faulkner]

"She's got a stalker and I doubt your protective abilities, apparently is...'what's up'", he answered, playing something faster now. Liam got really into it once he started playing guitar and so he smiled toothily, happy with how it was sounding.

Nettie looked down at the carpet and then looked up brightly. "Have you ever heard that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover? That could apply to me,"she said with a smile. Lily rolled her eyes. "You're not supposed to defend me, just...make sure I don't have a panic attack while your stupid brother comes back from the police station,"she explained boredly.

Liam frowned a little at this and started to play the beginning of Coheed and Cambria's 'Welcome Home'. "My question is why doesn't that guy trust you not to have a coniption while he's out and about?"

Both girls shrugged. "I don't know...he's always been a weirdo,"Lily answered. Nettie rolled her eyes. "You didn't think he was a weirdo when you dated him!"she said giggling. Lily blushed at that. "...Shut up, Nett,"she asnwered sharply.

He looked at Lily and snickered. "You dated him? Uhm...isn't that guy like your brother or whatever?" Liam continued playing some chords and shook his head. "That's straight up whack, yo", he said in complete monotone.

"Um...no,"Lily answered, pulling her hair over her face. Nettie laughed. "No, he's actually my brother. So we were sisters-in-law or whatever!"she said happily. "SHUT UP, NETT! This is embarrasing!!!!!!"

[Liam Faulkner]

Liam laughed at that. "Why should it be embarrasing? So you dated somebody. Oh no! The world's gonna end. Help! I think I'm Chicken Little..." He smirked at Lily.

"Pfft, yeah. Having suffered is really fun, right?!"she answered back before standing up and locking herself in the bathroom. Nettie stared after her. "Oops...well...I guess I shouldn't have brought up the subject..."she said sighing.

"......." He glanced at Net, chuckling a little bit. "I suppose some of this is my fault...I mean I shouldn't have made fun of her like that. I dunno why I did...usually not my nature to..." He sighed and walked to the bathroom. "Hey...come on, I'm sorry."

Lily barely heard anything. She was sitting on a corner, crying in silence. Nettie knocked on the door. "Nee-san, can you please get out of there??? I really need to go!"she lied. "Oh, alright, alright..."Lily answered walking out of the bathroom.

Liam pursed his lips and glanced over at Lily, then at Nettie. "So...why'd you call her a Nissan? That some sort of car joke?...I don't get it." He shrugged, looking at them in confusion. "Does...that have to do with something? Conicelli havin' some sort of sale to get people out of bathrooms?" He asked the question seriously because he was completely clueless.

"Uh, not Nissan. Nee-san,"Lily answered, spelling the word clearly. "It just sounds the same, but it's not. Nee-san is 'sister' in Japanese,"Lily explained. Nettie just laughed. "Yes! This girl is like the sister I never had!"she said, hugging Lily.

[Liam Faulkner]

"...Right", he said like he knew all along what it meant but in his head he was rolling his eyes. He turned to look at Lily. "I'm sorrry...about what I said. I guess if it got you upset, then it was pretty insensitive. So...yeah. Sorry." He shrugged and offered a tiny smile.

"Hm...yeah. Nevermind..."Lily answered with a sigh. Nettie started poking her arm. "Meh! Is there something you wanna share with the rest of the class, nee-san?!"she asked. Lily sat up straight. "Yeah, sure. But it's a secret. Come over here..."Nettie leaned over and Lily whispered something into her ear.

Nettie's eyes grew wide. "REALLY?! That's like SO awesome!!!!!!!!! You have to let me be godmother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"she hugged her. "....Ow....."Lily complained.

Liam grinned weakly at the two. "Let her be a godmother...? Hey, are you pregant?" he asked bluntly, the wheels in his head turning. He just looked at Lily blankly, waiting for her answer while he sat down on the floor, leaning against the couch.

"Hmm....yep,"Lily answered. Nettie hugged her tighter. "That's SO awesome!!!!!!"she yelled. Lily pulled away from her. "Nett, you already said that, and will you stop trying to break my ribs already?!"she said sharply.

Nettie laughed. "I'm not breaking your ribs!"

"Yes you are! You're like....breaking them into tiny little pieces,"Lily answered ruffling Nettie's hair.

He smiled again but this time it was bigger. "Congrats, then...uhm..." He wasn't sure what her name was, didn't even know if she told him or that guy told him or whatever. Either way, he was drawing a blank. "Yeah, whatever." Liam sighed and let his head fall back onto the couch as he looked up at the ceiling. "So who's the guy that knocked you up?"
