In one second, his whole world seemed to collapse.
"... Don't be. It's not your fault..." at that moment he hung up; jumped into his car and drove all the way to the hospital. It took no time for him to figure out Lily's room number, and once he did, he walked in, trying his hardest to remind himself not to break down.
Lily was okay. Their daughter wasn't. But Lily was. She'd be okay.
"...Hey..."
