Tawni dropped her jaw at the initial shock of what he said. Aw...puppy...She looked to him and Nettie and smiled. It kind of reminded her of what she and Kyle would do. "Joooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnn!!!!!" she whined, running up to Elliot and tickling him. She smiled, remembering the last time she'd tickled him. "I wanna puppy!!!"

"Ahh! Stop!"he squirmed away, and then Nettie brightened up. "I has puppies!"she ran into the kitchen and brought a box. Inside there were four newborn husky puppies, all of them looked kind of sick, but cute nonetheless. Elliot glared at his sister. "Where d'you get that?"he asked. Nettie shrugged. Elliot grinned. "Sure, why not? All yours,"he said, and picked up one of the puppies too. Nettie laughed. "Elliot is getting a puupy soon, too, right bro?"she asked, nudging him. Elliot took three seconds to guess those words had a double-meaning. He ignored it and started playing with the puppy he was holding.

Tawni blinked, of course not getting the double meaning and just laughed. "You want MORE? But there's like three really cute ones in here..." She pursed her lips and looked into the box at the rest. "What's wrong with these ones? Stop making the puppies feel bad about themselves!" She kicked him lightly in the leg, laughing.

((I know!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom won't let me buy a puppy unless I give my cat away  )) Elliot shook his head. "Uh, she doesn't mean that, but you're right. This little things are too cute,"he settled the puppy back in the box with it's siblings and watched it curl up to sleep. Nettie smiled innocently. "What else would I mean? I'm not that smart..."she said, cutely. |

She set her puppy down on the floor and sat down next to him. Tawni stayed silent for a while and then started talking. "You said...you were capable. So that means your not anymore? That whatever happened...turned out for the best, right?" Tawni tried for a smile, pulling the pillow down from his face.

Tawni smiled at him, then laughed and punched his shoulder. "Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm sure I've screwed up my relationships way worse than you have. So you know what'll make you feel better...?" She stopped to take a deep breath and jumped off the couch. "If I make dinner!!! YAY!!!" She laughed and ran into the kitchen, looking in the fridge to see what she could make.

She grinned triumphantly and began making zitti. Not sure how much or what kind of cheese to put in, she just dumped in what she could find. Some parmesean, gouda, chedder...She then mixed it with the noodles and popped it in the oven, kicking the door closed with her foot and setting the timer. Tawni smiled, took some chips from Nettie, and then went back to Elliot and grabbed his hand, trying to pull him off the couch. "Come on!!!"

She grinned and took the puppy, craddling him in her arms as she spun around. "Hello love! Hm...I don't think I named you just yet...how about..." But her words trailed off when Nettie said that something was burning. Her eyes grew wide and Tawni set the dog down on the couch, sliding swiftly into the kitchen. She opened the oven, black smoke wafting out eberywhere. "Oh dammit!" Tawni snapped, grabbing some mitts and taking out the now burned mess that was the zitti. Pursing her lips, she set the food on the table with a smile. "Bon appetite!"

Tawni raised her eyebrows in shock. She seriosuly didn't know how to cook, so she stood there stunned for a while. "Oh really?! Sweet!" Grinning happily, she grabbed a spoon, scooped some out, then popped it in her mouth but not even five seconds later, she spit it back out onto Elliot's shoes. "Oh crap, it tastes like shit..." she moaned.
