Tawni's Place!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Kyle Spin]

He stopped and turned hallway to look back at her. "Yes?" he asked, his tone irratible.

[Tawni Hanson]

"Uhm...he's gonna be ok, right?" she asked, staring at the doctor hopefully and brushing off his tone.

[Kyle Spin]

Something flickered across teh docters face, but as soon as it was there, it was gone. "In time... yes, he should be fine."

[Tawni Hanson]

Her eyes narrowed almost instantly when the words 'In time' rang through her ears and she stepped forward a little. "What do you mean, 'In time'? I mean...you fixed him, right?"

[Kyle Spin]

"Fixed?" he repeated, scoffling at the word she chose to use. "You can't 'fix' someone, only help." He shrugged, his ugly side showing as he started wo walk off. "You don't have to worry so much."

[Tawni Hanson]

Tawni rolled her eyes and jogged to keep up with him. "Well then you did help him, right? Please say right..." She didn't know if she was being annoying or not and was leaning towards yes but right now she didn't care.

[Kyle Spin]

"We did everything we could," he simply can. "Now if you excuse me, I have other pateints to attend to." With that, he went into a room that said employees only, leaving her alone in the hall.

[Tawni Hanson]

She looked down at the floor, not sure what that meant. Tawni sighed and ran a hand thru her hair just as Crash came up behind her. "Anything?" She jumped and shook her head, then turned to looked at him and repeated what she did. "They said they did everything they could but I...don't know what that means...and those stupid nurses were whispering to each other and I wanna know what they were saying and then--"

"Ok", Crash cut in, stopping her of her rant. "No one wants to hear the long version. If they did everything they could, they did everything they could. Just trust them."

Tawni glared disbelievingly. "Crash, what do you think when you hear that? That he's not gonna make it, right? Right?! Yeah." she snapped before he could even say anything. He rolled his eyes and led her back to the waiting room. "Take a nap or something. You're going crazy." She sighed and did as told.

[Kyle Spin]

It wasn't long until Kyle woke up, his blood plusing hot under his skin and heart rate blasting on the machine to his left. A few nurses came running into the room, one paging the docter in a rushed tone as the other worked to calm him down.

Something was seriously wrong, and what, Kyle had no idea. He couldn't breath as he gasped for air and the nurse quickly put a mask on him. Out in the waiting room, the same docter glanced at his pager and then bolted towards the room.

Crash looked at the commotion going on and pursed his lips, kid of feeling uneasy. Was he the cause of all this? Just one little bullet in someone's stomach managed to do all this? "...What the hell did I hit?" he muttered, then looked over at Tawni.

She was still sleeping, uneasily, but sleeping and he figured sleep riddled with unease was better than none at all. Seeing that doctor run out of the room was not a good sign and he finally decided to bolt out the room, following the doctor because the agony was killing him.

"Hey, what's happening?" Crash snapped.

[Kyle Spin]

The docter glanced back at him as he rushed down the hall. "I don't have time to explain young man, I'll let you know as soon as I know myself." Frowning deeply, he disapeared into Kyle's hospital room.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He came to an abrupt halt outside Kyle's room and stood frowning at the door. The doctor had said he didn't have time to explain...did that just mean he really was in a hurry to try and help Kyle or did that mean the explination would be too hard to say...? And then he pretty much said he didn't really know what was happening himself. "Damn! Doctors are the worst", he muttered before going back to Tawni, who he found had gotten out of her seat and was leaning against a wall in the waiting room, sitting on the floor with her head on her knees.

"...Tawni", Crash muttered as he walked over to her. He saw her kind of flinch but she didn't say anything. He sighed.

[Kyle Spin]

The docter sighed heavily as he walked out of the room a long twenty minutes later. He disposed if this bloody gloves as he went out to the waiting room walked over to the two teenagers. "By now it should be obvoius that there is nothing normal about the situation we're in," he started in a defeated voice.

[Tawni Hanson]

Tawni eventually lifted her head to look at the doctor but before either her or Crash could snap out something smart or snarky, Mr. Hanson blocked both of them from the doctors' view and began speaking to him. "Right. As of now, do you have any idea what's going on?"

[Kyle Spin]

The docter nodded, looking down at his clip board as he spoke. "The bullet penetrated his abdomen, causing a massive amout of blood loss. It also seems that his blood intermixed with stomach acid, risking fatal toxima."

He looked up at Mr. Hanson as he continued. "Luckily those kids got him here right away, without medical help, he wouldn't have lasted half an hour. There seems to be some complications with cleaning the wound properly and riding it of any toxic acid. I suggest you guys come back tomorrow, we have Mr. Spin in critical care as of right now. Tomorrow he should be better healed.. that is if everything goes well."

[Tawni Hanson]

Ray nodded, sighing heavily as he tried to grin. "Thank you, Doctor. Please call if you have any updates." He looked at the kids and was stunned to find Crash had no trouble getting Tawni up off the floor, though she was looking down and lost. Disoriented. "Tawni", he said, moving to put his arm around his daughter but she stiffened and moved back. Ray sighed, then turned around as they headed out the hospital and back home.

"Crash, could you do me a favor and keep Tawni with you? At your house? I don't think it would be wise for her to stay by herself, y'know?"

What if she goes off the deep-end like she has so many times in the past?! Wanna be as far from her as possible, huh Daddy? Jeez Crash nodded. "Sure. Just be here if that stupid doctor calls, ok?" Crash drove them to his place and Tawni trudged like a zombie into his room, closing the door behind her and assuming the same position she was in at the hospital, propped up against a desk in the room.

In the hospital, Kyle was in a deep sleep. All types of cords and the works were hooked up to him. Every half hour, a nurse was scheduled to check on him. As long as it may have seemed in reality, the night passed quickly for him.

At nine, a nurse came in and gently woke him, offering bread and warm noodles to eat. Picking at his food here and there, Kyle stared boredly out the window, his mind wondering to the past night's events.

[Crash Bandicoot]

After several attempts at trying to get Tawni to come out of that room and failing, Crash decided he'd better try and do something that would possibly get her feeling better again. He started cooking...and it almost made him puke to know he was making food for someobody else but it wasn't like hospital food was good. Not like he was doing anything wrong.

After making it back to the hospital, he walked to Kyle's room, not bothering to knock and just set the food he made on the table. "Here", he muttered.

[Kyle Spin]

Kyle looked down at the food, his stomach growling at the site of it. It looked a lot more apitazing than what the nurse gave him. After a moment of silence, he looked up at Crash, his dark eyes metting his. "Appriciated."

[Crash Bandicoot]

"...Well good" he mumbled still before narrowing his eyes a bit. He thought he was going to apologize to him for putting him in this hell hole but then...what for? He'd wanted to hurt Kyle, right? So as long as he got what he wanted, there was no need for apologizes. But then...maybe it would get Tawni out of this depressed-phase she was in at the moment. With a long sigh, he looked at Kyle. "And I'm sorry."

[Kyle Spin]

His ace still blank, Kyle nodded slowly. "Although I doubt you mean, your apology is accepted." Yawning and then wincing at the stretch it caused his stomach, he looked back out the window. "Tawni didn't come?" he wondered aloud.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Obviously not you dumb-ass, if she's not in here with me, DO YOU THINK SHE CAME?!, he wanted to scream more than anything. Hs finger twitched. "Uh...no. She's..." Crash sighed and rolled his eyes some. "At home."

[Kyle Spin]

He nodded. "Well.. thanks for the food," he mumbled.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"...Sure", he said, mimicing Kyle's tone before he turned on his heel to walk out the door. Before he left, Crash stood in the doorway, debating what he was going to say. "I really am...sorry. Mainly because...I'm not sure why I shot you."

[Kyle Spin]

"Just don't say that too loudly or you'll get busted," he said, shrugging off his apology. "I told the doc before it was a robber that was already in the house when we came back to the apartment." He sighed. "He bought it of course."

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash frowned in confusion. So he lied...He turned around to stare at Kyle in confusion. "Why would you do that?"

[Kyle Spin]

Kyle returned the gaze, half expecting him to just nod and go. "Why wouldn't I? Do you want to get busted?"

[Crash Bandicoot]

"So you...lied for me because you knew I wouldn't want to get...caught?" he asked, trying to wrap his head around it.

[Kyle Spin]

He shrugged, growing irritated. It was almost as if Crash was rubbing it in. "So, what's the big deal?"

[Crash Bandicoot]

He looked at the door and then shook his head. "I just don't understand. I shot you", he clarified, making sure his voice was low enough so only Kyle could hear. "What the hell kind of reason do you have to do anything for me?"
