Tawni was laying upside-down on the couch, feeling the blood rush to her head and watching Aah! Real Monsters. She laughed at random parts. "I've missed this show."

"Coming!" she called, flipping over off the couch and jerking up. "Holy hell", Tawni muttered as she stumbled to the door, dizziness overtaking her. Once at the door, she threw it open to see Alex. "Hey!" she said happily.

She dropped her jaw, realizing Alex didn't know what happened. "We really do...uhm...ok, guess we'll start at the beginning, then." Getting comfy on the couch, Tawni ran a hand thru her hair, then started talking.
"Ok...technically, Kyle is only my step-brother. My family took him in when he was little, so he didn't know he was adopted. The first day I saw him again, I realized I was falling for him. But...I didn't know it was him. I mean...something in the back of my mind told me that this was Kyle but I didn't want to listen. I thought he was dead. Long story short, when he told me he was my brother, I downplayed my feelings for him but they were still there. And then...we went to an amusement park and got on the Ferris Wheel. I was freaking out because I'm scared of heights. He calmed me down, we shared stories of the past and then...he kissed me...I guess technically, I kissed him..."
Tawni looked at Alex with a light smile. She chuckled some. "Am I insane?"
