"Mr. Sex-Starved?" he reapeated through gritted teeth, his eyes narrowing to dark slits. He ignored her hits, not even feeling them as he shoved her roughly up against the wall. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" He laughed bitterly. At this point, all sense was out the window.
He laughed harder, his shoulders shaking uncontrolingly. "God forbid I show you how much I love you! Or better yet-!" he stopped short. His eye wavered for a split second and then he was gone again. What was overing him he had no idea. He was blowing this way out of proportion and yet he couldn't stop it.
"Better yet.." he repeated, his voice low and dark now. "Show how much I loved you." He sneered then, leaning his head back away form her as if she discusted him. "What the fuck was I thinking? Maybe I'm just as mental as you.."

((oh burn!! holy crap!!!! a-haha!!!!!!!!!!))
Tawni's eyes instantly grew out of focus as soon as he said that and the strong sense of deja vu smacked her in the face and tore her heart to shreds. She slowly lifted a hand to her cheek to make sure the blow hadn't been physical, then lowered it. She didn't even feel it when Kyle rammed her against the wall but she figured the pain would come later.
"You are mental!" she screeched. "You have to be! Damn, I can't..." Think, her mind finished for her. She fished around inside her pocket frantically until her fingers brushed metal. She gripped it and hurled the key as hard as she could against his face.
"Take this back", she sneered. "I guess this is the part where I go 'What the fuck was I thinking, right? Who'd wanna love somebody like you, much less live with you?!" She continued to kick him as much as she could, hoping that he'd let go or at least his grip would loosen some.

The key hit him hard on the face and then fell to the floor, making a loud clattering sound. The sound echoed in his ears as he realised what had just happened. She was breaking up with him.
Surprisingly, it didn't hurt. The idea was almost relieving, but then again, he wasn't in the right state of mind. Anything he was saying or even thinking couldn't be what he truely felt. Could they?
As she kicked at him, his grip only tightened even more. "Get the fuck out," he growled. And although he was telling her one thing, he was doing another and shoved her back up against the wall again.

She had to bite her lip to keep from screaming out loud. Kyle's grip was way past unbearable now. Now it just HURT. She felt the pain sear up her back when it came into contact with the wall but she refused to whine or show her discomfort.
"Get off me", she snapped, her leg shooting out automatically and kicking him again.

Kyle let out a short cry of pain as her foot colided with his area. He released her , stepping back and covering his area as he dealt with the pain. "Jesus girl," he snarled. "Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean you have to ruin it for other girls."
Other girls. He chuckled at the thought and straited himself up again. "Tawni," he smiply said, a smirk spreading across his dark features. "Honestly, did you really think I ever... cared about you," he spat.
He waited for her reaction, his thoughts cursing at him as he stood still. He shouldn't have said that, he really shouldn't have. But.. maybe it was best. If she wasn't happy with him then he could at least try to make it easier for her to leave him.

Running was a bad idea. She realized she probably shouldn't because there were so many things she still wanted to, had to scream at him. But it would be so easy. "Don't talk about yourself, Kyle. It's so tacky." Her voice started to crack and tremble right after she said his name but she fought way hard to keep the tears in, knowing they were about to spill over any second.
When she spoke again, she managed to keep her voice steady enough though she was smiling softly. "I guess that was another mistake I made, huh?"
Knowing she would break down any second, Tawni turned on her heel and walked out the door, just wanting to get out of there as fast as she could. She ran a hand thru her hair and passed Crash on the way, who noticed her stoic expression and charged back to Kyle's, just staring at him for a bit.

Kyle stared back at Crash, his expression unreadable after Tawni walked out. "What? Come back to bitch at me some more?" he chuckled. "Bitch away, I'm all ears mother fucker," he growled.

Crash narrowed his eyes, his hand going into his jacket pocket and curling familiarly around his revolver. He'd make it quick, just had to pull the trigger. Whipping it out of his pocket, Crash took perfect aim for Kyle, keeping his eyes and hand steady.
"Shut up Kyle", he muttered, letting his finger pull back on the trigger.

The bullet sunk deep into his stomach as the sound of the shot echoed through the whoel building. Time seemed to move in slow motion for Kyle as his eyes widened in surprise and he fell back to the floor.
Holding his hands over where he was shot, he let out a low groan of pain. The pain was.. rediculously agonizing as the blood poored from his wound and quickly soakd up his shirt and hands.
Looking up at Crash with quick fading eyes, he opened his mouth to speak. Nothing came out, but a few stuggled sounds and then he squeezed his eyes shut at the pain. This time, he cried out in pain, his scream filling the air.
This all happened in a matter of seconds.

Tawni stopped dead in her tracks as she walked outside. The sound of a gunshot...and a scream that was all too familiar...She looked behind her and frowned some as she was torn between whether or not to check it out. Realizing that was a stupid thing to debate over, she turned back on her heel and sprinted back to Kyle's place.
Cursing herself because she remembered that she'd thrown the key at him, Tawni could feel herself on the verge of hyperventillating. What was going on?! What had happened...? Too many questions swirled through her mind, making her head pound annoyingly.
Once she made it back to his apartment, she stopped dead in her tracks to see the door open slightly. For some reason, the sight of that was making her uneasy and scared shitless. Cautiously slipping back inside, her eyes seemed to fall immediately to Kyle's form...his bloody form. Blood. Spilling from a wound in his stomach...Her eyes then traveled to Crash, who had his lips pursed and was looking back and forth from Kyle to his gun as if realizing just now that this probably wasn't the best thing to do.
Trembling violently, Tawni tangled her fingers in her hair and squeezed her eyes shut, letting a scream of her own fly from her mouth and like always, it sounded high and insane but she couldn't help it.

Her cream rang through his ears, only brigning more apin to him. GRoaning, he opened his eyes slowly and looked u[ at her blurry form. "Tawni.." he mumbled, his hand trembling over his wound as he laid on the floor and looked helplessly up at her.
The smell of his own blood had gotten to him, something he could never tolerate. He tried shifting his weight, sitting up a bit more comfortably. Focusing his eyes on her as best he could, Kyle tried to say more, but it was too late.
He had blacked out.

She swallowed the lump in her throat and probably would have screamed a second time had it not been for Crash's hand suddenly covering her mouth. She knew who it was before she even got the chance to look. "Crash", she tried to say but failed because her voice was muffled.
"...Come on", he muttered, having already called for the ambulance, he took his hand from off her mouth and the medics hauled Kyle in the back. Tawni and Crash hopped in the back and the ambulance zoomed to the hospital, where they unloaded Kyle and whisked him away, leaving the two to wait in the waiting room. Tawni stared blankly at the wall in front of her, everything replaying in her mind.
"...Tawni", Crash said after a while. "Shut up!", she snapped, trembling.

Kyle dozed in and out as the docters worked on him. Luckily, they gave him some anesthetic so he didn't feel any pain as they removed the bleeding. It didn't take long for them to stop mosdt of the bleeding and then wrap him up tightly in cloth.
Still a bit out of it, Kyle looked up at the docter as he frowned down at him. "You don't need to worry too much," he said, seeing the hostile look in Kyle's eyes. "Get some rest and we'll discuss matters in the morning." He glanced back at the clock on the wall and huffed. "Which, won't be too far away." Then, he wakled out, leaving Kyle to rest.
The docter hurried down the hall, his expression a mix of bored and annoyence as he walked over to Tawni and Crash. "Are you two friend's with Kyle Spin?" he asked in a professional tone.

They both jerked their heads to the doctor and opened their mouths at the same time but closed them when neither one of them knew how to respond to that. After going through about eleven possible answers, Crash just decided to answer the question with one of his own.
"We're here, aren't we?" "Is he ok?!" Tawni snapped more than asked, hopping up from her seat.

The docter nodded slowly, looking at his clib board and writing stuff down as he talked to them. He didn't seem to be bothered by Crash's tone, as if he was used to it. "I need to speak with his parents. Are they here and if not, do you have anyway of contacting him?" he asked, his gray eyes flashing over at Tawni and then at his clipboard again.

"...My parents?" she muttered half-heartedly, glancing at Crash as if he could tell her what to do but he just gave her a glare, telling her to quit being so stupid and just call her parents. But I haven't spoke to them since I ran away, she thought unsuredly. After realizing she was being dumb, Tawni called and told them what was going down and they soon made it to the hospital. They looked...grim about something which only made Tawni shrink back behind Crash as if for protection.
Ray looked at the doctor, completly ignoring Crash and Tawni. "What's happened?"

The docter looked at him, his expression just as bored as before. "Your dauther's friend has been shot. I need a signature to ensure the treatment bill will be paid before we go any farther with our operations.." he trailed off, glancing over at the teens as he said this. He hadn't broken the news to them yet.

Ray raised his eyebrows in shock for a while, then sighed and took a pen from the doctor as he signed the papers, grumbling things like 'friend' and 'damn bills'. Tawni's gaze went to the doctor and saw him staring at her and Crash. She stiffened. Why did he look like that? "What?" she snapped, on edge.

The docter nodded politely as he frowned deeply at Tawni. "No need to worry. His wound got infected and if we don't use the proper liquids to clean it, it could rupture an important stomach organ. And his hand will need to be put in a cast, he seems to ahve busted that up pretty good."
The docter tossed her a small smile and wrote something quickly on the clipboard. "Anyway, everything should go smoothly." With that, he walked off down the hallway.

She tensed immediately. "...Should?...Should?! What the hell?! He's a doctor, he should be able to fix these things!" Ray sighed as he tried to calm his daughter down, leading her over to the chair she had been sitting on. "Tawni, they'll do everything they can. I'm sure that--"Shut up!" Tawni snapped, letting her hands wind themselves into fists. Crash rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Jesus Christ. Calm down Ta--"SHUT UP, CRASH!!!!" And with that, she ran down the hall, towards the room they were keeping Kyle and she jerked to a stop, looking in worridly through the little window.

Kyle was out cold as two nurses and the same docter stood by his bed at work. They had injectioned enough to knock him out for a good hour or so as they worked on the problem. It seemed that something must had gone wrong because he had a face masks on to help him breath.

All that seemed to be running through her mind at the moment as she gazed thru the window was He's gonna die, he's gonna die, he's gonna die...And what's with that mask?!. "It's all Crash's damn fault", she muttered. "What's wrong with him? He can't stand to see me happy..." The last part was more of a statement and she wondered if she'd accepted that after Liason had died. Tawni whimpered and moved to lean against the wall next to the door, sliding down it and resting her head on her knees.
What do I do?

A half hour passed before the docter came out of the room, almost jumping in his spot when he saw Tawni on the floor. "You're welcome to go inside now," he said uncomfortably.

She jerked her head up to look at the doctor, her eyes distantly out of focus for a while before she blinked and scrambled to her feet. "Really?!" Without waiting for an answer, she pushed past him and ran inside, standing by Kyle's bedside. She looked down at him with an unreadable expression. "Kyle?"

He slept peacefully, her voice going unheard. The two nurses silently left the room as she entered, wispering something under their breaths. The mask was now gone, but he had all sorts of things hooked up to his arm.
As if he had a late reaction to his own name, Kyle blinked his eyes open slowly and met them with hers. Quickly frowning, he looked away with embarressment.

Tawni opened her mouth to say something, then thought better of it and closed it. She let her eyes avert to the ceiling, then the walls and finally back to Kyle. Not exactly sure what to say, she tried for the most obvious. "How are you feeling?" she muttered.

"Shitty," he mumbled, waiting a moment before turning his head to look as her. His expression was weak, his eyes showing both the physical and mental pain he felt. "Actually.. I feel pretty fucked up." He tried to sit up, only wincing and laying back down.
Surprisingly, his tone didn't sound hostile in anyway. Just tired. "Even though I'm laying in a hospital bed, you have every right to smack me right now. And I mean smack me hard." Kyle attempted to smile, but it failed quickly and his face went blank again as he looked up at her.

As soon as he said that, everything she felt came flowing out of her mouth in a wave of anger as she looked down at him. "Why the hell would I do that?" she asked, her voice quiet, though anger-filled. "It's like you said...you're hurt. In a hospital bed. Why should I do anything to try and hurt you more? Besides...I don't wanna smack you. Shut up, Kyle."

She nodded mechanically, then something dawned on her in realization as she left the room without another word and caught up with the doctor.
"Hey!" she called, her voice hard.
