"Wait!" she suddenly called which was very strange in her case. She would've just let him leave but it was too late now and she did want to at least see what it was like to hang out with someone.
"...Where would we hang out?" she asked.

He smiled again. "Well.. I'm a nerd and love libraries, but let's do something exciting.. like, an amusement park, maybe?"

She wouldn't complain about the library. She was a definite book worm but the amusement park sounded interesting and she'd never been to one before.
"An amusement park..would be fine." she replied and finished the muffin and hot chocolate to throw away. When she looked up at him she felt her self blush lightly but turned her face in embarrassment. She never blushed like that or even remembered blushing and it wasn't something she wanted anyone to see.

Brett took her hand and dragged her over to his car. "I'll drive, I think there's one only like 15 minutes from here."

She pulled her hand back and held it to her chest. "I'm..sorry. I'm not touched often so.." she said feeling herself blush again but she tried to hide it again and simply walked towards his car. She was nervous going into a car with someone she'd just met but if she backed down now, she'd never have an experience like this again.

He shrugged. "It's cool, I'm sorry to make you uncomfortable." He got in the drivers seat and turned the keys. "What kind of music do you listen to?" he asked, pulling out of the parking lot.

"..I don't listen to a lot of music," she answered truthfully. "Sorry, I'm probably the worst company.." she said putting her hands on her knees.

He shook his head quickly. "No, no, you're a cool person," he said, putting on Q102. "You know this channel?" he asked, the song 'Fireflies' by Owl City coming on.

She nodded after recognizing the song. Though she didn't listen to music often, this was one of the songs she did like. "I know the song..it's one of my favorites.." she answered and realized she let out a soft smile.

"Well..I really just listen to what ever sounds good at the time..but I never remember the names of songs or singers." she replied honestly.
She could see the amusement park in the distance. It was amazing and she couldn't help but feel a bit of excitement. "..Wow...that's amazing.." she let out.

"Ever been on a roller coaster?" he asked as he pulled into the parking lot. It wasn't very crowded that day, luckily, so the lines would be short.

"I've never been to an amusement park before..so no." she replied but it sounded like it was fun. She got out of the car and looked out at the rides. There were so many.

He put his keys in his pocket and closed the door before walking in the direction of the entrance. "Well I'm sure you'll love them. First time's a little scary though, to be honest."

"Really?" she asked nervously. Now that she looked at how large and tall the rollar coasters were, she felt like backing out but she didn't want to be a coward.
"..Will you go on them with me?" she asked but felt a bit embarrassed in asking. She would never complain in going alone but this was her first time in a place like this.

He raised his eyebrows. "Of course!" he replied as he stepped in line to pay for a ticket. "You're supposed to go on the rides with friends, ya know," he said with a laugh.

She felt relieved but embarrassed for not knowing. "Oh.." she let out and reached in her pocket for money to pay for her own ticket.

When he reached the counter he asked for two, one for him and one for Serena. "I'm paying, my treat," he said to her with a smile as he pulled her away from the counter with laugh in case she protested.

She did want to protest and was a bit uncomfortable when he pulled her, though she didn't say anything. "I can pay for the ticket..I have money..besides...don't people only pay for others when they are on a date?" she asked.

He thought about it for a moment, handing her her ticket. "Yeah, I think so," he said with a shrug. "You could consider it a date, or two friends hanging out. Either way, it's too late anyway," he teased.

She sighed and grabbed the ticket. "Well then I'll buy the food. It's only fair.." she replied and started walking towards the entrance.

She could feel herself tensing up. Just hearing it and seeing his devilish grin was already scaring her. "...I...um..maybe I should just..watch.." she said.

"No way, you're coming on," he said, running up ahead to the starting point of the line for a roller coaster. "Ready?" he called to her.

She gulped and followed him. "Alright..I'm ready.." she answered as they got on. Once the safety bar was pulled down, she was almost on the verge of running off. "I don't think I can do this.." she let out worringly but the rollar coaster started and it'd be too late for her to get off. Instead she bit her lip and closed her eyes tightly.

"Hey it's fine," he said, although he was scared as well as they were pulled higher up into the air. "I might squeeze your hand really hard during the first drop," he said, chuckling nervously.

She opened her eyes and looked at him from the side. "Then you won't mind if I do the same.." she said. She would rather keep her hand to herself but the word 'drop' landed in the pit of her stomach like a bowling ball being dropped from the empire state building. They were finally at the tip where it was about to drop. She breathed in deeply and closed her eyes before it started down at a rapid speed.

"Ahhh!" His hand closed around hers and he squeezed his eyes shut, his stomach becoming queasy. He had his eyes closed basically the whole ride, including during the photo, and when the lap bar lifted up, he was breathing heavily. "Wow," he said, feeling lightheaded, finally opening his eyes but forgetting to release her hand, still slightly terrified.

She opened her eyes and panted a bit trying to regain her breath. As she looked down she realized he was still holding onto her hand. She blushed slightly but looked down to hide her face. "Um..you..my hand.."she said squizing his hand a bit so he'd realize it too.

He looked down and let go. "Heh, sorry, I was nervous I guess," he said, smiling cutely before getting off, his legs feeling a little wobbly and jello-like as he stumbled down the stairs that led to the place where the photos appeared on screen. "Oh god, my face is going to be ridiculous," he said, smirking as he searched for his face.
