Ryden's Palace.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He looked over at her and saw her holding up her thumb. Sighing, Crash shook his head. "Ryden? What are you doing now?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"Well," She said closing her left eye. "You know that saying that your thumb is never bigger then the moon. Well i wanna see if it works with the sun too.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash just stared at her. Yeah, someone had told him that before. It might've been Tawni or something but he didn't think the same principles applied with the sun. "Uhm......whatever." He closed his eyes, hoping to make a wish before the sun made it fully into the sky.

[Ryden Hertz]

She then looked over to him. "And what are you doing? I thought you wanna see the sun rise?" She asked kinda confused.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Making a wish? What's it look like?" he asked, still keeping his eyes closed. When he was sure the sun was fully in the sky, Crash opened his eyes and looked over at Ryden. "Don't you do that? Make a wish before the sun get's in the sky all the way?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"Oh, darn. I guess not now.." She laughed and smiled to him.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He sighed. "Always the slow one. That's such a problem, I don't even know what to do about it anymore." Then he laughed too and grinned at her.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Oh, hush puppy!" She laughed and Pushed him alittle.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash pushed her back a little too and gave her this look. "Puppy? So now we're calling each other names, are we Walrus?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"No. it's like an expersion. Like it's raining cats and dogs.." She laughed.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He smirked at her and just shook his head in shame. "That is not an expression. Hush puppy? Gimme a break..." The sun was blinding him, making Crash squint a little and shield his eyes from the sun.

[Ryden Hertz]

"It so is a expression!" She huffed and crossed her arms across her chest.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He sqinted at her because of the sun. "Yeah, whatever! Like hell it is." Crash sighed and stood up on the building. "Maybe we should get back soon...Gina worries like hell and I don't really want to give her a heart attack..."

[Ryden Hertz]

She got up and looked at him. "OKay, Let's go.." She said as she took his hand and ran to the ladder.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash didn't realize the ladder was wobbling on one bolt and for a second he just looked up at the sky, trying to count all the stars before they blended with the sky. "...How many do you think there are?" He might've been talking to himself or Ryden, couldn't really tell.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Billons.." She whispered and smiled up at the stars. "When we remember different summers.." She sang softly. It seemed like the right time.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He closed his eyes. Ryden's singing relaxed him, even this early in the morning when he would normally be all cranky and snappy. Walking over to the ladder, Crash stepped down. The ladder unhinged from one bolt and he went swinging into the side of the building, his shoulder connecting hard with the bricks.

"OW! God...JESUS CHRIST!" He ground his teeth in pain, sure he'd dislocated it or something. "...Hey, watch your step" he grumbled from the bottom.

[Ryden Hertz]

"..Hey, you okay?" She asked as she came down lightly. She hoped down and ran to him. "Your shoulder okay?"

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash glanced at his arm, tried to move it, then grit his teeth in pain and looked away. "NO. It's broke-ded."

[Ryden Hertz]

She sighed. "Come on. The hospital we go.." She said taking his other hand and started to walk.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Pfft. Like hell. To the hospital we don't go." He turned away from her and started walking the other way.

[Ryden Hertz]

"CRASH!" She said and he started to pull her.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"I ain't goin'. I'll just pop it back in myself." He continued to pull her along, always dreading even the sight of a hospital. They always seemed to bring back too many memories he'd prefer not to think about anyway.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Well you don't do that! I mean i don't like hospatils as much as you do but i'm not going to have you keep feeling pain!" She shouted as she dug her heels into the ground.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"I can pop it in myself!" he whined, grabbing hold of his arm with his hand and not doing anything for a while. "...Now how does this work again?" he mumbled, hoping Ryden hadn't heard.

[Ryden Hertz]

"No no no no no no!" She shouted and got off the ground. "Were going now.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash just gave up. What was the point in arguing? "Whatever! As long as those ass-wipes know what they're doing. I'm not trying to die today..."

[Ryden Hertz]

"Obiviosly they know what their doing. THEY WORK AT A DAMN HOSPATIL!" she sighed and staryed walking to the hospatil in front of him, not looing back. She let a tear fall. She hated going to this place but she wasn't about to let Crash sit there in pain..

[Crash Bandicoot]

He followed after her reluctantly and ran a hand through his hair, biting back a smart remark he was going to say to her. Now wasn't really the best time to argue. "Just cuz they work in a hospital doesn't mean they know what they're doing", he mumbled. "Right?"

"It should mean that.." She snapped at him. She knew this wasn't his fault but she just was mad.
