Ryden's Palace.

[Crash Bandicoot]

His eyes met hers in the glow of the lamp. "'It's cool? Like hell. But by all means, explain to me how strangling is 'cool'."

[Ryden Hertz]

"Um, i don't know.." She sighed. She felt so verenable right now.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash sighed, not wanting to press this anymore. There was something he needed to talk to Ryden about anyway. "Ryden...do you think I'm crazy?" he asked very seriously.

[Ryden Hertz]

She looked over art him. "Crazy?" She asked.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"............" He wasn't sure how to start but figured it'd be best to just get it out. Taking a deep breath, he ran a hand through his hair. "I met up with Eve at my house and we were talking and pretty soon after, she kissed me...long story short, one thing led to another and..." Crash sighed and closed his eyes, trying to get his wording right again.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Crash you have a girlfreind. Why would you do the... well you know?" She asked looking at him with a confused look/.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"I...she's...something's changed I think...", was all that Crash could say. His words were broken but he hoped that Ryden could get the gist.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Huh?" She was still confused. So she just layed down on the bed.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He groaned and leaned his head back against the wall. "It's not me, it's her. She's just...I don't know. Kyra's great. She really is...it's just that something's changed...and I don't know why..." He let his eyes close, not wanting to look at Ryden.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Is it cause she's having a baby. hmm, i don't know. Your baby." She said looking at Crash.

[Crash Bandicoot]

A vein jumped in his jaw where he cleched his teeth together. "That's NOT what I mean!! Shut up!!!!! I felt like something was changing way before this even happened!" He stopped talking to curl his hands into fists.

[Ryden Hertz]

"I bet your scared. scared of having a baby. no wonder.." She sighed and got up. "You are crazy. like you got one girl pragent, then now Krya... Lie really." She sighed.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He didn't know why but hearing Ryden bag on him like this was making him feel just a little better. Standing up too, he stepped closer to her and turned his face away. "Slap me."

[Ryden Hertz]

"What?" She asked loking at him.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"What?" he mumbled. "I said slap me. Right here." He pointed to his cheek. "Hard."

[Ryden Hertz]

She sighed. "Fine.. don't get mad if it hurts though.." She said as she got ready and slaped Crash. Hard in the face, like a bullet going into one's chest.

His face cracked swiftly to the side. He winced and closed his eyes, biting his cheek until the pain stopped and refusing to cry out. When he opened his eyes, he was panting. Looking at Ryden, Crash swallowed and nodded. "I guess we'll see if that wakes me up...doubt it but it was worth a shot. Thanks."

[Ryden Hertz]

She sighed. "I'm sorry.. But you are real crazy. " She wispered and walked back to the bed.

[Crash Bandicoot]

A red mark had already formed on his cheek and he sighed and shrugged. "I've tried to tell people...they just don't seem to want to listen. Piss-offs." Looking out the window, he noticed that it was now daytime again and the sun was just coming up. "Wanna see the sunrise?" he muttered with a small grin.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Okay.." She smiled and walked up to te window, standing next to him. "From here?" She whispered.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Of course not. Kyle's room sucks ass if you wanna see a view..." He opened the window and a gust of cold air circled them. Crash decided to bare it but he tossed Ryden one of the hoodies he'd left over here a while ago, a white one with multi-colored angel wings on the back. He hopped out the window and landed with a 'thud'. The drop was kinda long he thought as he turned to look up at Ryden. "Come on."

[Ryden Hertz]

She smiled and threw on the hoodie. She jumped out and landed lightly on the ground. "So, where are we going to see the sunrise?"

[Crash Bandicoot]

"From the top of a building. The top of the new Wegman's. That thing's so high, it's perfect." He led the way, now almost wishing he'd taken one of the hoodies that Kyle had left behind as the wind picked up.

[Ryden Hertz]

"You cold?" She asked as she started to take off the hoddie he gave her to give to him.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash shook his head. "Nope", he said, his breath coming out in a huff. "Keep it on, you'll turn into an icecube and then we'll have to thaw you out 3 million years into the future and NONE of us will want to do that cuz we'll all be too busy being fascinated by our talking animals." He said this like it was so normal.

[Ryden Hertz]

"oh...uh..okay?" She laughed and just kept walking with him. After a while se took his hand cause hers were cold.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He glanced at her hand and grinned a little. Gripping it in his, he saw they were approaching the Wegmans and he went behind it, pulling the ladder down from the shaft. It was a little wobbly and the hinges were loose. Crash shrugged and started climbing with no problem. Once he was standing at the top of the building, he nodded to Ryden. "Up ya go. Careful. It's unstable."

[Ryden Hertz]

She started to climb up the ladder. Se almost fell twice and when she got up she sighed. "That was horrible.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash smirked and sat down, his feet dangling off the edge. "Come on, clumsy. Sun's almost up."

She sat next to him and looked up. She smiled and put her thumb up to the rising sun. "I don't know if this works for the sun buuuuuuuut..."
