He clenched his teeth together. "But sometimes it doesn't. DOES IT?" he snapped back, knowing he shouldn't be yelling at her either. Sometimes he just couldn't stand to be wrong.

Crash glared at her back for as long as his eyes let him. When they were growing tired, he sighed and looked up at the sky. He should just go. And he didn't want Ryden to come back to him and say 'I told you so' a million times either so he took a deep breath and walked in the direction of the hospital. "Let's go..."

He reached for her hand and took it in his, shook his head, and walked into the entrance. "Hey. My shoulder's dislocated. And you better fix it and you BETTER not mess it up." The nurse at the front desk looked at Crash, then to Ryden and smiled a little. "Uhm...well, you'll have to wait for just a little...we have other patients, you know."

2 hours later, the nurse came back out with a patch over her eye and looked at Ryden. "Hello! Sorry for the wait." She was holding her clipboard kind of tightly.

The nurse chuckled sheepishly. "It's nothing to worry about. We just had a little misunderstanding and...well, it's nothing! Actually, the injury was worse than I thought. It seems that because of the force his shoulder had with that wall, the blood vessels surrounding his shoulder have been damaged. We actually need to do surgery to repair it fully..."

"Sure. His room's number 7. I'll be back in about an hour with the surgeon to start." The nurse walked down the hall and around the corner. Crash was playing with a flower that was on the table beside him. Well not really playing with it, more like plucking all the petals off.
