Tawni grinned at his expression and went on. "You know I was just upset and let whatever the hell I wanted fly out of my mouth and I didn't know what I was doing and at the time, I'd wanted to crack my board over your head..." By now she was ranting on and on.

He got up and quickly followed. "Do we really have to do this now? I ran away frm that house for a reason." then suddenly he got an idea and his face lit up. "Tawni! You have to introduce me to your parents." He started to laugh.

She narrowed her eyes, thinking this thing through. Yeah, he didn't look like he had years ago and the name would be no problem. Eventually, she shrugged. "Ok. What do you wanna be called, then?"

Self consiously he looked down at himself as well. Perhaps she was right. He wasn't exactly the type of kid parents want theri little girl to bring home. "OK.. fine," he mumbled after a moment. "But only if I get to wear my shirt that says 'I fuck on the first date.' "

Tawni nodded and took out her cell. She grinned some when her dad picked up. "Hey! Listen, I'm having a friend come over for dinner. His name's Kirby!" She paused for a second only to laugh with her dad about something as she looked at Kyle. She started laughing harder and when she caught her breath, she just hung up. "Ok. They can't wait to meet you...Kirby."
