[Arianna Rivers]

Ari shrugged. "I wouldn't say that exactly... I have an eidetic memory, so I memorize things easily."

[Crash Bandicoot]

Sy laughed. "That's being too modest. You're a genius! It's better than saying you have an eye...doctor...wha-uhm. Thing?" He looked at Crash for conformation, who just glared at him. "I don't know how to say it, moron!"

Sy turned back to look at Ari and smiled brightly at her. "So you are a genius. It's pretty rare to find a girl who's smart but so cute at the same time."

Ari smiled a little. "Thanks. And eidetic just means I have a photographic memory..." she trailed off, not knowing what to say. "So how exactly do you know Crash?"

[Crash Bandicoot]

Sy grinned at the memory. "Oh we went to the same middle school. There was this one girl I went out with. The love of my life...well, other than myself. I didn't know Crash all that well before I found out my girl was cheating on me with Spikes over there."

Crash smirked, remembering what had happened. "It was pretty crazy. In the end, we teamed up and humiliated her in front of the school...and then we had to be sent to the hospital cuz we beat the shit out of each other." Sy laughed. "That was so the best day ever!"

Ari smiled a little. "Sounds like... fun," she said, chuckling.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Yeah", Crash mumbled sarcastically. "It was a blast." When they made it to the go-karting place, it was really packed. Sy whistled. "Guess everyone had the same idea. Come on, Ri-Ri." With that, he took Ari's hand and walked through the crowd, putting a distance between them and Crash and when he looked over his shoulder, he could no longer see his friend. "Oh dammit! We lost Spikes!"

Ari stood on her tiptoes, scanning the crowd for Crash. "Where'd he go?" she asked, a little frantic.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Sy glanced down at Ari for a split second before pretending to search for Crash. "It's impossible to see anybody in this crowd. Let's walk out of it, maybe we'll catch a glimpse of his spiky updo." Taking Ari's hand once again, Sy squeezed through people. He turned back only to smile at Ari. "So we dont get separated too." He held up their hands.

Ari looked up at him, skeptical. "Shouldn't we go back to the entrance instead? Maybe he went there to look for us..."

(Is Ari about to be raped or something? 'Cause this is being set up like a rape scenario )

[Crash Bandicoot]

((Maaaaaaaaaaybe? Haha no no, Sy isn't that crazy ))

He led her over to a snack area and leaned against the wall, smirking a bit at the crowd in front of them. "You wanna try to penetrate that human blob? That's gotta be worse than staying with me." Laughing, he sat down at one of the tables, gesturing for Ari to take the seat across from him. "Might as well stay and get comfortable. We'll talk", he said, his voice soft and cheerful.

"About?" she asked, resting her head on her hand.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"About you, of course", he chuckled, propping his elbows on the table and threading his fingers together so he could rest his chin there. "Tell me about you. Your interests and things that annoy you. What makes you you." Sy grinned warmly at her.

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari laughed. "It sounds like you're about to do a magazine spread about me," she said, blushing a little.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He laughed too. "I guess it does. Silly Sy", he said, knocking his hand against the side of his head. "But I guess you must have a lot of patience if you have to deal with Crash all the time, huh? So that's something."

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari chuckled. "He's really not that bad of a guy... and patience isn't the word that I would use- it's more like... curiosity, I guess. I'm always wondering what he's going to say or do next... he's extremely unpredictable," she said, playing with a strand of her hair.

[Sy Donnovan]

A wide grin splayed across Sy's face. "So you like unpredictability? It is nice, I suppose. It keeps the relationship fun, right?" He got up to walk to the vending machine and came back with a root beer and a diet Pepsi, setting them both in front of Ari. His smile died down some and he crossed his arms over his chest. "Though too much of it seems like it'd weigh on you. Sometimes it's nice to fall into a routine."

(HOLY SMOKES SY'S HOT!!)

Ari shrugged her shoulders and grabbed the Diet Pepsi. "Thanks. And yeah, predictability's nice... but then again, my ex was all too predictable, and that wasn't fun either." She opened the can and took a sip, lost in her thoughts for a moment.

[Sy Donnovan]

((I know!!!!!!!! I could stare at him all day haha))

Sy raised an eyebrow and grinned, taking his root beer and cracking it open. "Lemme guess. Way too mushy and 'I love yous' and let's make out even though I just kissed you two seconds ago." He peered into the can for a moment before lifting it to his lips and taking a swig.

Ari chuckled. "Something like that... But enough about my failed love life. Anyone special for you right now?"

[Sy Donnovan]

His mouth twitched a bit but he managed to raise the root beer to his lips before he could start cracking up. Once the feeling went away, he set the can back on the table and shot Ari a lopsided grin. "Nah. No such luck for ol' Sy ever since that incident in middle school. Y'know, all the girls I've met since then are either way clingy or smell like wet ham."

Ari laughed, pushing her hair behind her ear. "It couldn't have been that bad... and come on, a guy like you? I'm sure everyone's been fawning over you..." she blushed a little, drinking her drink. "But don't worry... you'll be in for a lot when you start at school here... small town; you'll be like the shiny new toy in kindergarten," she said, composing herself.

[Sy Donnovan]

Sy laughed and lightly shook his can, hearing the tab clatter against the sides. "That sounds like fun. Looking forward to school, then. And I mean my dad's dumb job moved us from Florida and I wanna kill him for it. I mean Disney, the beach? How do you leave all that? But I guess there is an upside now."

Noticing the crowd dying down, Sy stood up and offered his hand to Ari, smiling at her.

Ari took it, smiling back. She grabbed her Pepsi with her free hand and led Sy into the crowd, looking for Crash's trademark hairstyle.

[Sy Donnovan]

Sy also looked around for Crash but that only lasted ten seconds before his eyes fell on something else. "Hey, look." He pointed to the bumper cars with a wide grin. "Let's do that, huh?"

Ari sputtered. "Bu-bu-but we're supposed to be looking for Crash," she said.

[Sy Donnovan]

"Aw, we gotta have some fun before we look around for Spikes." He leaned over to make it look like he was trying to get a better look at the bumper cars but his face was right next to Ari's. He subtly turned his head so his nose was near her neck and grinned, shoving his hands in his pockets. "And I'd like to have some fun with a nice girl who doesn't smell like ham." Straightening back up, Sy flashed her another grin and headed to the bumper cars.

Ari stood there for a second, frozen. "A-a-a.." she started, not able to finish. "Ok," she said in a small voice. To compromise, she took the long way around to the bumper cars, looking for Crash along the way.

[Sy Donnovan]

Sy grinned and settled into a black car, then started moving around to get the feel of it. "Man, I haven't done this in years. Hey, come on Ri Ri!" he called, waving Ari over to him. "Shoulda just gone the other way! That way's too long", he chuckled.

Ari stuck her tongue out at him and climbed into another car, driving it around for a second to get a feel for it.

[Sy Donnovan]

He chuckled, moving along the edge of the circle where he came up behind Ari and rammed into her. "Score 1 for Donnovan! Hell yeah!" Reaching over to ruffle Ari's hair, Sy backed up and moved away.
