Ari chuckled. "It amazes me constantly as well. I find myself contemplating the same thing when I am making instant mac and cheese. It's... odd."

[Ace Stone]

"The things people come up with now-a-days," he said with a mocking roll of his eyes.

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari chuckled. "And the amazing powerful of the ever-shocking microwave!"

[Ace Stone]

He laughed, shaking his head sadly. "What would we ever do without technology?"

[Arianna Rivers]

"Die."

[Ace Stone]

He stared at her in surprise at her responce and then broke out laugh.

Ari tried to keep a straight face and then laughed with him. "Okay, maybe not die instantaneously..."

[Ace Stone]

"But it's true," he said inbetween laughs. "People today would get absolutely no where without the technlogy we have. We'd be so helpless that we might as well just curl up in a ball and die."

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari nodded. "And I think that's really, really sad... how we've just become so reliant on technology. I mean, we cannot even do simple math without consulting our calculators... gosh." She sighed before turned around and turning off the stove just as the water was about boiling.

[Ace Stone]

Ace shook his head sadly. "Yeah, just the other day I was typing 9x8 into my calculator and thought... 'what the hell am I doing, that's so easy.'"

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari chuckled. "Anywho, I think the ramen is done. Just... let me... get some...bowls..." she said, reaching on her tiptoes for bowls located on one of the top shelves.

[Ace Stone]

ACe came up behidn her and grabbed two bowls, sticking his tongue out at her at the same time. "I've always wondered, but how does it feel to be short?"

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari stuck her tongue out at him. "Oh, go pound sand, you... tall person," she said, failing miserably to come up with a comeback.

[Ace Stone]

He let out a laugh and handed her a bowl. "You're horrible at comebacks, but nice try."

[Arianna Rivers]

"Thanks. I'm just surprised the 'pound sand' came out. Normally I just clam up and everything's hunky dorey after a few seconds," Ari said absent-mindedly, ladling ramen into the bowls.

[Ace Stone]

Ace nodded slowly, not really sure what she meant, but went along with it. his stomach growled and he grinned. "Damn, I'm hungry."

Ari chuckled and handed him the bowl. "Chopsticks or fork?" she asked, walking over to a drawer.

[Ace Stone]

"Fork," he said quickly. "I don't wanna make a huge mess.."

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari chuckled and grabbed a pair of chopsticks for her and a fork for Ace. She handed him the utensil and started moving the ramen in her bowl, almost organizing it in a way that was undecipherable to other humans.

After wolfing down half of his, Ace looked over at her bowl. "Sending a message to the aliens next door?" he asked.

Ari stuck her tongue out at him. "Nope. Actually, it's a message for Ron Weasley. He's supposed to pick me up soon but, since I have company, that's not really an option now."

[Ace Stone]

He blinked, having no idea who Ron Weasley was. "Uhmm.. is he a freind?" he asked uneasily, not sure if he liked the idea of another guy coming to get her.

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari stared for a second and then burst out laughing. After a couple of seconds, she sobered up and rubbed her eyes. "I take it you've never ready Harry Potter?"

[Ace Stone]

He slowly shook his head, still confused. "What does that have to do with this Ron guy?" he asked, growing a bit irritated. "And what's so funny?"

[Arianna Rivers]

"You are!" Ari said, beaming. "You're absolutely adorable when you're jealous, you know that, right?"

[Ace Stone]

His face flushed. "I'm not jealous," he muttered, covering his face with a hand. "I just want to know who he is, that's all.."

[Arianna Rivers]

Ari shook her head and chuckled, wrapping her arm around his waist. "He's a character from a book. You have nothing to worry about. I love YOU, so don't get all worried."

[Ace Stone]

He tossed her a small smile, suddenly feeling really stupid. "Who.. I guess I fit the dumb jock role pretty well," he said with a laugh.

Ari chuckled. "That's alright. Just as long as you don't beat me up and steal my math homework, I think I'm alright with that."

[Ace Stone]

"Nahh," he laughed out with a wink. "There are other methods for me to get that out of you."
