Ari bent down to her knees and opened her arms wide, smiling evily. She started to lean towards him a little.

He cringed away, but didn't bother to get up and run, it was a waste of effort, she was bound to get him eventually.

Ari giggled and wrapped her arms around him, rubbing her face against his collar and neck. "Gotcha," she said, winking.

He groaned and pushed at her shoulders. "This is sooo messy," he whined.

Ari raised an eyebrow. "You expected anything less? It's paint. You're supposed to get messy. That's why I'm wearing a pair of old overalls and you're shirtless. It was bound to happen," she said, trying to sound casual.

He chuckled, his chest riasing and falling with each laugh he let out. "You're right, it's to be expected."

Ari chuckled. "And that's why," she started, getting to her feet, "there is a shower upstairs, for incidents like this one."

Ace blushed madly, getting the wrong idea. "Wow... I didn't know you were so forward.."

Ari rolled her eyes. "Not to be used for two people at the same time! Gosh, you're such a...a guy!" Ari said, slapping her forehead.

Ari chuckled. "Not that that's a bad thing. Now, you first. Go upstairs and I think I have some of my brother's old stuff somewhere. I have to at least try to clean up this mess..."

"Alright," he said, jumping up. He smirked and kissed her forehead. "I do have to admit, it's a bit of a disapointment."

"I'm joking, I'm joking," he laughed, ducking out of her swing and leaving the room. "I'll be back soon," he said, disapearing down the hallway.

Ari chuckled as she grabbed the half-empty paint can that Ace had emptied on her head and walked it over to the sink, putting the lid back on with a hammer. She tapped it around the edges before she accidentally slammed it on her finger.
"Ouch!" she shouted, hopping up and down and holding her finger. She stuck her finger in her mouth as she walked back into the other room to grab the other paint can.

Ace came back down a few minutes later, waearing a pair of baggy sweat pants that he stole from her brothers room. He rubbed at his hair with the towel as he walked into the living room. "Your turn beautiful."

Ari jerked up from her crouched stance and beamed, walking out of the room and upstairs. She hopped in the shower and was relieved that the paint came off. She hopped out and wrapped a big, fluffy white towel around herself before opening the door slowly to make a mad dash to her room.

Ace laid down on the couch, his eyes closed as he waited. He took this time to think, about anything really.

Ari grabbed a t-shirt and pair of old sweatpants, throwing them on before drying her hair. She chuckled when she realized that the shirt she had on was her old Periodic Table of the Elements shirt.

Ace yawned loudly, sretching his arms over his head. He would never understand what took girls so long to get ready and what not.

Finally, Ari flipped her hair one last time and sprinted downstairs, finding Ace on the couch. "Miss me?" she asked, smiling.

"Ramen?" he asked hopefully. "It's quick and easy and very good," he said as he sat down at the table.

Ari glanced at him, incredulous. "Ramen? I have it, yes. I'm just surprised you like it," she explained, walking over to a cabinet on the opposite wall and grabbing two packets of chicken-flavored ramen.

"I'll never understand how something so good can only take a moment to cook," he wondered aloud, already able to smell it as she poured the flavoring in.
