Zane's House

[Zane Tapp]

"I have an idea," he said suddenly, stalking past her towards the door and opening it. He came face to face with the delivery guy, who smiled instantly, his chineese eyes disappearing momentarily. "I'll take that." Zane reached for the food and pretended to reach into his pocket with his other hand, but as soon as he had a hold of the bag of food, he slugged the guy in the face, knowing his out completely. "There. Mission acomplished." Zane turned and smiled innocently at Lilith as he closed the door behind him.

Lilith dropped her jaw, staring at the delivery guy before Zane closed the door. "Oh my god! Are you seriously gonna just leave him there?!" She was actually pretty impressed. It was a move she might've done if she'd been in the same situation but she'd have pulled it off with just a little more class. Be more manipulative. She took the bag from Zane and walked to the kitchen.

Zane watched her walk off and rolled his eyes, following her into the kitchen. "Doesn't seem like you care very much," he noted, amused by her reaction. "Something tells me you've done something similar before."

"Oh really?" She grinned and took out a container of fried rice and some terriyaki. "Maybe. But the difference between you and me is I can hide the body pretty well. Whereas you on the other hand just left him there. What happens when people come here?"

[Zane Tapp]

"Oh who cares if anyone sees him," Zane said dismissively as he took out some lo mein and orange chicken. "He's chineese. Chineese people do weird things all the time. People will probably just think he's greiving over the death of one of the cats they cooked and is pretending to take a nap on some random person's porch like those damn cats always do."

[Lilith Celejay]

Lilith had started eating some lo mein and stared at him weird. "....Uh huh. Let me know if you end up eating the cat that's somewhere in all this food so I can get a hatchet and end your misery." She smirked and bumped Zane out of the way with her hip so she could get to the microwave. "Cuz foxes are way better."

[Zane Tapp]

"Hey hey hey," Zane said quickly, wrapping his free arm around her waist and pulling her back out of his way of the microwave. "My house - me first."

[Lilith Celejay]

"It's ladies first. Unless you have something you'd like to tell me." Lilith grabbed at his pants and tried to yank him out of the way.

[Zane Tapp]

"Woah woah, careful with the trunks little lady," he said teasingly, stepping out of her grip quickly. "I didn't know you were that eager to get inside of them." He winked at her then quickly made a run for the microwave.

[Lilith Celejay]

Glaring at his back, she reached inside the plastic bag that held some of the food and whipped some chopsticks at his head, then reached in her pocket and threw her cell at his head too. "You wish I was eager. I'm anything but, pretty boy. Now be a good boy and eat your food." She just pushed him and went back to the microwave.

[Zane Tapp]

"Ow!" he shouted as he placed his food down on the counter and grabbed at the back of his head. "You damn bitch!" he charged at her then, tackling her to the floor and make the food go flying everywhere. "Say you're sorry," he demanded, his tone slightly playful as he pinned her down.

[Lilith Celejay]

Lilith screamed in shock, not having expected him to do that and fell with a thud on her back. Her food flew out of her hand and spilled everywhere and then she got pissed. "ASSHOLE!! Do you expect me to eat that off the ground?! I WANTED THAT!!!! You say you're sorry! You're the one who ruined my food!" She glared at him playfully and kind of lightly kicked at his stomach.

[Zane Tapp]

Zane only ended up leaning more forward when she hit him, a small gasp escaping his lips and into her ear, which only made him even more sexier than before. "Gentle little one," he warned, biting his lip to hold back a deep chuckle. "I'm a fragile guy. You could send me to the hospital."

[Lilith Celejay]

She dropped her jaw and fought to control the blush coming to her face. She managed to keep it down and turned her face to the side. In her confused anger, she punched his stomach and then his chest repeatedly, though not hard. "Get the hell off me. You better do it before you BREAK cuz you're so god damn fragile!" Her legs kicked out at his stomach.

[Zane Tapp]

Zane's eyes shot open when she did this and he gasped again, though this time he quickly rolled off of her and into a ball on the floor, clutching his stomach. "Fuck," he breathed. "Call.. an ambulence," he ordered quietly, gasping for air.

[Lilith Celejay]

Lilith stared at him in disbelief, raising an eyebrow. "What the hell?" She hopped up and reached for her cell just in case something was actually wrong. "Uhm...whaddya mean call an ambulance? Is someone a wittle wimpy and can't take pain?" She smirked in his face and laughed.

[Zane Tapp]

Zane's eyes snapped up to her in anger. "I'm fuckin' dying!" he shouted before breaking out into a fit of violent coughing, his heart slamming uncontrollably in his chest.

[Lilith Celejay]

All laughter from her face fell when he said that. She would've called him a big dramatic baby but...he seemed oddly serious. "Shit", she hissed and quickly dialed 911. When the ambulance came, they piled Zane into the back. Lilith hopped in with him and they sped off. She looked at him oddly. Dying? Was he really?

[Zane Tapp]

Zane withered in pain as the paramedics let to work on relieving him of his pain, sticing an IV in his wrist and placing a breathing mask on his face to help him breath. "Easy breaths, Zane," the one instructed. "You know the drill.."

The other paramedic turned to face Lilith once he had the chance. "Can you explain to me what caused this?"

With the help of the mask, Zane slowly calmed down, his breathing coming back to normal as his eyes fell halfway closed. He stared up at Lilith emotionlessly, too drugged up to feel any sort of anger or anything towards her. All he could do was wonder what was going on and why the hell his neighbor was with him.

Lilith temporarily froze. Alright. Now she needed a kick-ass excuse cuz there was no way in hell she was gonna say what really happened. Or maybe she should just say he was trying to rape her and she acted appropriately...Was that what actually happened? She was too hyped up to remember...no, that hadn't been it.

Giving a little sigh, she looked at Zane but quickly looked back at the paramedic when she saw him looking at her. "It's kind of a long story and who the hell cares right now? Go fix him!" She jabbed a finger at Zane and stared at the doctor defiantly, her eyes challenging him to disobey her.

The paramedic's eyes widened and he blinked silently, waiting a few seconds for the ambulance to come to a complete stop before he turned and hurried hoisted Zane out of the ambulance with the help of the other paramedic.

Three hours later, a young and handsome doctor came out to see Lilith in the waiting room, a grim expression on his face. "Are you Zane Tapp's friend?" he asked quietly.

Lilith snapped her head up to the doctor. She hadn't realized that something hard was in her mouth until he came and she spit out three fingernails. Her jaw dropped, temporarily more concerned about the hot doctor seeing her screwed up nails than Zane right now. Swallowing a lump in her throat, she quickly stood up, hiding her hands behind her back. "Uh...yeah, sure. So?" she asked with a smile, stepping closer to him.

[Zane Tapp]

The doctor shot her a weird look, taking a small step back and making sure to lift his hand with his wedding ring on it to scratch his cheek. "He's asked to see you," he mumbled before walking away.

[Lilith Celejay]

Lilith laughed quietly, shaking her head as she walked to Zane's room. That was fun. Maybe she could've messed with him a little more but she just took what she could get. When she opened the door, she just stared at Zane for a while, her eyes narrowed slightly but soon after, a smile lit her face. "So! The staff here is pretty cute. By the end of the day, I plan on getting that doctor and he'll forget all about his pretty little wife."

Zane turned his attention away from the tv to look over at her boredly, obviously not in the mood. "Next time I tell you to stop something - stop," he muttered and then looked back to the tv having said what he wanted to.

[Lilith Celejay]

Her hands clenched into tight fists. No way was this gonna be turned into her fault. And ok, maybe it was in a way. But this whole thing could have easily been prevented. Lilith walked over so she was standing next to him, staring down at him. "You wanna tell me what the hell's going on? Why are we here?"

[Zane Tapp]

"I dont know why you're here," he snapped at her, his eyes cold as he glared up at her, though there was a sense of pain behind her. "You could have left hours ago. Why sit around and wait for me to come around only to torture me some more?"

[Lilith Celejay]

"I'm not torturing you!" she snapped right back, getting pissed now because of him. "I'm only screaming at you because I'm confused! And why the fuck wouldn't I wait?! I'm not heartless!!!" She saw the look in his eyes and stopped screaming. Instead she breathed a sigh to calm down a little. "What's going on?" she mumbled.

[Zane Tapp]

Zane gritted his teeth, his jaw flexing in irritation a he looked away as if in shame. "I'm dying," he finally mumbled. "From a heart condition that doctors know little to nothing about. It acts up at random moments.. though usually not during any ind of sexual activities or sports, just... random. The littlest of things set it off.. and it's killing me." He shrugged, though still kept his gaze turned away from her. "I'm most likely not going to live past 23. Or at least.. that's what the doctors believe."

Lilith was about to call him bluff one more time but kept her mouth shut. She shifted uncomfortably on her feet and sighed, finally just deciding to believe him. "I'm sorry", she mumbled. "About what I did. I'm...sorry." It was all she could think of to say right now. "There are no meds that can like...downplay the effects or something?" She came around to the other side so she could look at him.
