Tawni stood behind the counter at Freezy Freeze and looked up at the clock. Her shift just started but she was already dead bored. The place had just opened, so business wasn't great. She was wearing grey ripped up skinny jeans and a red t-shirt with a black vest over it that said 'SUCKA CAN DOUGIE' on the back. She sighed and took out her iPod, blasting it while she jumped up on the counter and danced to the song 'Teach me How to Dougie.' She didn't notice Christian. ((really! Haha. It's what I was thinking of  )) |

He walked over to the counter "Hi, what do you suggest?" he asked before a little girl came running to him asking for some.

Noticing Christian, Tawni grinned and hit stop on her iPod. Finally. She sat down on the counter so her legs dangled off the edge and swung them back and forth. "Weeeeeeelllllllllllll, Strawberry Kiwi's the best water ice but if you want ice cream, I'd say chocolate all the way! Yeah!"
She looked down at the girl and grinned at her. "Aw, aren't you a cutie? Want something too?"

"Gotcha!" She hopped off the counter and was about to get it but froze in her place somewhere in between the soft serve machine and the bin that had the other flavors. "Soft serve or hand dipped?"

Tawni opened the bar and got their ice cream. "Ok, let's see...that's gonna be $5.29. Buuuuuuuuuuuut..." She made herself a butterscotch one and held it to her mouth, giving Christian and Sophia theirs. "It'll be free if you can beat me, k?" She grinned at Christian.

~New day~
Tawni was running around the place, trying to make everyone's orders. There was suddenly this huge swarm of people in Freezy Freeze but she couldn't exactly blame them. It was one of the hottest days of the month, so she hadn't even bothered to wear the uniform apron. Instead, she was sporting a blue tanktop with Chinese characters all over it and black and white checkered shorts.
"Yeah, I got that...Here you go, cutie...Get off the ceiling light, freak!" she seemed to be saying over and over.

Zane strolled into the place, his hands shoved deep into his kaki cargo shorts as he approached the counter. His long hair was currently a dark brown, falling just above his bright blue eyes, which matched his blue polo.

Tawni was filling a cup with Pina Colada water ice when she noticed Zane. A bright smile covered her face and her hand shot up in excitement. "Hey! What's up, kiddo? Welcome to Freezy Freeze!!!!!" A blob of water ice flew from the scooper and onto Zane's face, making Tawni chuckle. "Sorry 'bout that."

Zane stood there in stunned silence for a short moment as the water ice slowly fell down his face and to the floor. "What the fuck?" he breathed out in frustration, finally snapping to life and grabbing a shit load of napkins to wipe himself with.

Tawni couldn't help but laugh at him. "My bad. But on the upside, now you taste like the best flavor water ice!" She flashed him a smile and went back to taking people's orders. When the crowd died down, she sighed and leaned on the ice cream bar. "Jeez. Hot days like this suck." Tawni flicked her eyes up to Zane with another smile. "But at least I cooled you down some, huh?"

"I dunno," he drug out, leaning forward and placing his elbows on the counter as he stared her down. "You're actually making me a little hot, especially with that first comment of yours," he said smoothly, slowly licking his lips. "Want a taste of the best flavor? I think there's a little left on my lips."

Tawni just stared at him, feeling her throat get tight and her face hot. Not sure what to say to that at first, she just laughed, which was her outlet for pretty much every awkward situation. It started as a chuckle before exploding into full-blown laughter. When she calmed down enough, she looked at Zane with a huge smile. "You're funny. So! Whatcha want? Ice cream or water ice?"

"Hmm.. I want.." he trailed off, slowly smirking as he eyed her up, remembering the day he had comforted her, wondering if she was still on the market. "How about.. well.. I want.. you're cream," he finally said with a wink, her laughfter a minute ago not phasing him at all.

She blushed a little more but quickly reached behind her for the whipped cream, ripping the cap off and taking aim at Zane's face. Closing one eye, Tawni pressed down on the nozzle and watched whipped cream fly out and land on Zane's face and mouth. Smiling, she giggled and blew on the nozzle like it was a gun. "Happy? Bet you aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrreee" she sang.

Tawni giggled but wondered the exact same thing. It was a good thing the manager was so sick he was almost dead and couldn't come in this week, otherwise she knew Zane was right and she'd be sooooo outta there. "Wait!!!!!" she called to him, leaning over the counter and practically laying on it. "You never told me what you wanted!!"

"I don't want anything anymore," he shouted back as he disappeared into the bathroom to clean everything off of him. Since he practically scrubbed his whole sirt to get things off and it was pretty much soaked, he just removed it. He tugged his leather jacter back on and threw his shirt over hs shoulder, not bother to button his jacket. Walking out of the bathroom, he passed Tawni on his way out and he crinkled his nose and stuck his tongue out. "You win," he grumbled.

Tawni raised her eyebrows in surprise, staring after Zane as he walked towards the door. She quickly turned around, grabbed a waffle cone and pulled the lever down on the vanilla soft serve. With that, she hopped over the counter and came up in front of him, offering the ice cream with an apologetic smile. "Here ya go", she simply told him, cheerfully.

She stood staring at Zane for a while before chuckling and swiping her finger along the middle of the ice cream, dotting his forehead with it. Tawni laughed. "Jeez. Never seen a boy who wanted ice cream on him so bad before. Shoulda said something sooner." Another laugh escaped her and she playfully stuck her tongue out at Zane.
