"I see, I see..." Neil looked at her for a while, then at the tv and sighed before standing up and grabbing Isa's hand, pulling her up. "Come on Sabi! Let's go!" He walked to her door.

"Sabi, I can't help it if my devilish good looks cause people to run into poles. That is a power that is totally out of my control." He snickered just as his mother opened the door to see Neil and Isa. A smile lit Kelly's face. "ISA!!!!!!!! How are you, love?!" She pulled the girl into a hug.

"Great! I feel like I haven't seen you in ages..." She sighed and pulled away but still smiled at her. "Here, come inside, do you want anything to eat?" Neil grinned and put his chin on Kelly's shoulder while he followed her around. "Mommy, can we have some money? And some food?" "Neil, can you get a job?" Kelly somewhat snapped but they laughed anyway and she pulled a cheesesteak out of a bag and handed it to Isa.
"I just bought some so help yourself."

Kelly laughed and went upstairs. Neil rolled into the kitchen on his board and did a couple of turns. "Hey, do you think I'll ever go pro with this?" he asked, nodding at his used up skateboard. The thing was worn out and the skin looked like it was starting to get scratched off.

"Look!" Neil said excitedly, shoving a flyer in Isa's face as he leaned against one of the ramps in the skatepark. "See, whoever can keep their hand on this run-down van the longest wins a new board. How great is that?!" Neil laughed and started waving the flyer in the air.

Isa sighed. "You know that's stupid.. like really stupid.." Isa shook her head and sat down on her board and just rolled around. "I mean, Are you really going to stand here and try to win this... You could never stand here, you would forget that you were in a contest.."

He blinked and looked down at the flyer, pursing his lips. "No I wouldn't....." Neil grinned at Isa and started skating around close to her. "I could win this contest, Sabi. And besides...I know you really need a new board too...cuuuuuuuuz I'm about to do this!" With that, Neil hopped off his board and ran onto the back of Isa's, jumping up and down on it.

He looked up at her and suddenly leaned close to Isa, staring intensely into her eyes, his unmoving. "I've never been more sure of anything in my life", he told her seriously, even though he wasn't being serious at all.

Neil did the same, nodding seriously. "Let's do it." He finally cracked a smile and cracked up, holding a hand to his stomach when it wasn't really that funny. "And we can share the board", he put in with a grin.

"Yup!" a cute girl confirmed, walking over to Neil and Isa with a clipboard in her hand. She smiled at the both of them and waved a clipboard in the air. "Your names? So I'll have a documentation of the contestants."
"I'm Peetie Longjohn and that's Spud Lemmiwinks", Neil told her. The girl just stared at him.

".....Keep your hand on a vehicle with me?" he suggested cutely before walking off and nodding his head for Isa to follow. "Come on. We've still got 3 hours until the contest. Let's pass the time at.....TUBE WORLD!!!!" Neil screamed, naming a play place for kids ages 7-13. It was basically a bigger version of the tubes at Chuckee Cheese.

He laughed along with her, running and kind of tripping over himself cuz Isa didn't exactly run very slow but Neil managed to keep up somehow. "Of course!!!! That's how we work, right? You mean to tell me you didn't figure this out twelve years ago?!" Neil smiled, remembering when they were 5 and had first met each other.

Neil stared after Isa in surprise for a while. She...she thought he was cute when they were little? A huge smile spread across his face, a cheshire cat grin and soon he was running after her. "You thought I was cute?!?!?! For reals?!"
