Amber sprinted down the stairs and slid across the hardwood floor, arms stretched like a ballerina. She skidded to a stop in front of Ace.
"Miss me?" she asked, chuckling. She walked around to the back of the bar, squirting some fruit juice into the bottom of her cup and whipping out a bottle of vodka. "So, Ace. Since I don't know you and you don't know me, why don't we play a lovely little game of 20 questions. And, to spice it up, every time you answer, you have to do a shot." She grabbed shot glasses from behind her and an unmarked bottle, looking at him to see what his answer was.

Ace narrowed his eyes at her, pretending to be suspicious before shrugging and setting his now empty cup down. "Alright, why not? You first I suppose."

"Me first to ask questions or me first to be asked?" she asked, pouring the bottle of vodka into her cup and setting up to shots.

((in real life, since she's so skinny, that full cup of vodka could make her black out. I blacked out on a water bottle full, remember? haha. just warning ya.))
"Ah.. uhm.. you ask," he mumbled, blinking a few times to try and see straight, already pretty out of it from all the whiskey he had.

(I know, none of this actually is applicable to real life. And personally, I've never had a drink, so being me, I have no idea what anyone's actual limits are haha) Amber swayed a little, moving over to Ace to start playing with his hair. "Um. Favorite color?"

"Red," he said without hesitationg, grinning before downing his shot. "Okay... what's your middle name?" he asked, not seeming to mind her messing with his hair.

"Rachel," she said, pouring a shot and downing it. She winced before sputtering "First pet?"

Ace had to think about that one for a moment, knowing they had had many dogs running about the house over the years. "I guess... hmm.. I had a little pug dog when I was three," he told her. "His name was Ruff." He chuckled. "Classic, huh?" Taking the shot glass, he poured himself a drink with blurry eyes before chugging it. "Uhm.. what grade are you in?"

Amberleigh chuckled. "I graduated a year ago. I'm taking a year off to 'explore the world'." She attempted to pour a shot, spilling alcohol all over the table. "Oops," she said, decided to drink straight from the bottle. She wiped her mouth with the back of her head and held up three fingers. "How many fingers am I holding up?" she asked, getting really close to Ace's face.

"Uhh..." Ace's jaw hung open slightly, his eyes narrowed to slits in concentration. "Six.. wit - no.. four!" he anounced loudly, slapping the bar top. "Yep. Definitely five, I mean - four!"

Amberleigh giggled. "You're so funny, Ace." She moved the bottle towards him and took a sip from her still-full vodka and fruit juice mixture. "Your turn!" she sang, placing her hand on Ace's thigh.

Ace just grinned cluelessly, spinning side to side on the rotating bar stole he climbed onto, not noticing her hand. "Uhm.. what's your favorite movie?" he asked, his words slurring together.

"Frosty the Snowman!" she shouted randomly. Her favorite song came on the radio and she pulled him out to the middle of the dance floor. "Let's dance!" she said, holding her hands above her head and swaying her hips, amazingly, to the beat.

Ace instantly blushed, shaking his head and standing awkwardly behind her. "I can't dance," he admitted quietly, suddenly turning shy again.

Amberleigh placed her hands on her hips. "Of course you can dance!" she reached over to the bar and grabbed a beer. "You just need some more of this and some lessons."

Ace eyed the beer uneasily before taking it from her and twisting the cap off, downing it in a matter of seconds. "Okay," he breathed, dropping the bottle to the floor without even realizing it, his green eyes fixated on her now. "Teach me."

She took his arms and wrapped them around her waist, pressing closer to him. "Now, sway with my hips to the downbeat of the song." She started to move her hips side to side, putting her own hands on his waist to guide him.

Ace slowly moved to the beat with her, is movements extremely awkward. After a moment, he started to get the hang of it and pulled her more against him, his hips picking up speed until they were moving perfectly with beat. "This isn't so bad," he slurred as he looked down at her with a smile, his adorable dimples showing.

Ace just grinned, his hands on her hips as the song changed, his hip movements turning into more of a grinding motion against her body. "You're really pretty," he drug out, still slurring as he studied her face.

Amberleigh grinned. "Thanks, handsome." She looked at him for a second, trying to read his expression. "What would you do if I kissed you right now?" she asked, winking.

Ace laughed at that, finding it much more funnier of a question than it actually was. "I dunno," he mumbled, shrugging as he guided her hips with his. "Try me," he teased, winking back at her, thinking she was just joking around.

Ace's movements slowled to a stop, his mouth hard on hers at first because he hadn't expected her to actually do it. Gradually, he kissed her back, hardly able to register in his mind what was going on.

Amberleigh beamed as she kissed him harder, nipping at him bottom lip as her hands roamed around his chest.

Ace's arm snaked around her middle, pulling her harder against him as his lips worked on hers, nipping back at her lip with a low growl. Even though this wasn't the girl he loved, Ace kept imagining Ari in his arms instead, his grip tightening protectively when he thought of their fight earlier.

(Aww....)
Amberleigh sighed as her hands slid down to the bottom of Ace's t-shirt, lifting it off his torso and breaking contact with him so she could pull it over his head.

Ace slowly opened his eyes to look down at her as his shirt hit the floor, his vision blurred from the alcohol. She almost looked like Ari in his current state of mind, so was this really all that wrong? No.. he shouldn't be doing this. This wasn't Ari. It wasn't the same. "No more kissing," he slurred, turning away from her then, but kept his shirt off as he went over to the bar for another shot or two. "You're not Ari."

Amberleigh looked at him like he had two heads on his shoulders. "Excuse me? I'm not Ari? I thought you came over here to get over her because she just broke your heart. Sorry for misreading the signals," she said, placing her hand on her hip.

"It's not that.. it's just.." He trailed off, trying to think of something intelligent to say in a time like this, but he lost his train of thought and poured himself a shot. "We just broke up," he slurred. "This isn't fair to her.. I feel so bad.. I was a bad boyfriend, and now I'm a bad.. a bad ex-boyfriend."
