Crash smiled softly. It had been a while since he picked her up like this. "I wanna start over", Crash told her as he neared the top of the stairs and turned into Kyra's room. "Do things the right way....like how it should've been from the beginning. It...never happened like this...and I'm sorry for that." He placed her on her bed and sat at the edge of it, shooting her an apologetic smile.

Crash looked at her. "I can't...re-do anything that happened. The bad things where I acted like a dick. But I wanna make up for them. Act like a real family...you, me, and Atom...get a fresh start. Treat you how you should've been from the start. That's all." He shrugged.

Crash just stared at her. On one hand, he was grateful that she thought this but on the other, he was kind of let down because he wanted to do things the right way...but maybe that was the problem. He'd never be right. So maybe Kyra was right and his imperfections were...well, ok.
Smirking, he wrapped an arm around Kyra's waist and layed back on the bed, bringing her down with him. "Ok~" he sing-songed. "Whatever you say. I still wanna make it up to you", he whispered.

Crash grinned and nodded. "I love you too. No matter what...always", he mumbled, starting to feel a little tired as his eyes slowly dimmed. This was nice. Falling asleep like this and knowing she'd be there when he woke up. He hoped it could always be like that.

She woke up to Crash wrapped around her and vis versa and she was truely happy. and she started to play with his hair as she tried to sleep some more.

Crash woke up a few minutes after Kyra and just stared at her for a little while. He gently ran his fingers through her hair and smiled. "Thanks, Kyra" he whispered. "You really are...the best..."

He nodded. "Or Tawni's full of it. I like that answer...." Crash was silent for a while and he felt bad about bringing this up but he had to talk about it. "I saw.....a scar...on her wrist, you know. Tawni. You don't think...she's cutting again, do you?" He didn't think he could take that. Crazy Tawni was a helluva lot to handle.

She was pretty good about hiding her emotions under that shining smile of hers. Sighing, he brushed a piece of hair from Kyra's face. "You still tired?"

"Well, My mom died in a plane crash while on a business trip and my dad travels alot. Ever since I was 16 he traveled even more. He loves me and visits once a month or so and makes sure everything I need is paid for but yea. I think that is all that is my parents." she said quietly.

The phone started ringing and a man answered "Hi Kyra. What is with the call?"
"Hi, daddy. well I miss you and there is someone that I would like you to meet and it is about the time that you come and visit." she said
