"Hey kid", Crash pretty much cooed, lifting Atom onto his hip as he walked into the living room and sank into the couch. Grabbing his bottle, Crash started feeding his son lovingly, his eyes warm as he smiled down at him. Atom drank the milk, looking up at Crash with those big green-grey eyes of his...Kyra's eyes. He found himself smiling before his side of his son came out. Atom reached up, opening and closing that little hand of his. At first Crash thought it was kinda cute and smirked at him. "Whatcha grabbin for, kiddo? Oh, you want a toy?" As he looked around for one of Atom's toys, his son had grabbed a firm hold on Crash's spiky up-do. Slowly turning to look at Atom, he forced a tight smile. "Heeeeeey. Uhm...Atom, I do love you and you mean the world to me and all that shit but you...need to let go."
Atom only stared up at Crash, still drinking form the bottle, and gave a good, hard yank. Crash cried out, springing up from the couch and started running around the living room in cirlces. "Kyyyyyyyyraaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!" he call-whined. He could feel Atom chuckling against him. Of course he would be laughing, Crash thought bitterly.

Kyra was finally able to sleep, a good quality nap because Crash had Atom. But she was just about asleep when it was heard. "Kyyyyyyyyraaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!" She sighed before getting up. She was in sweatpants and a tank top with her slippers. She walked into the living room to start laughing at the site "Yea, babe?" she asked after a minute of watching Crash ru around.

"Our son has an iron grip!!!" he cried, trying to pry him off but it wasn't working. He ran over to Kya and just tilted his head to the side. "Help, please?!" At that point, Atom had started yanking repeatedly on Crash's hair, causing Crash to just whine more. "God dammit!" he snapped.

She laughed before gently taking Atoms hand and massaging it and he finally let go of Crash's hair. "There, he has done it to me too." She said smiling.

Crash smiled and rubbed at his now released hair. "He's so....me", he realized with a start. It took a while but Crash also realized that Kyra had been getting some much needed z's before he started screaming. He ran a hand through his hair in shame. "Kyra, I'm so sorry. This was probably really annoying to you. You need your rest and here I am screaming for you. I should've just handled it myself..." he mumbled, looking at her and feeling terrible.

She sighed "Crash its fine. That is the first time he has done that to you and you paniced but hey, maybe spending more time with him will cause you two to like each other. My boys need to play nice." She said as she kissed Crash and kissed Atom's head

Crash returned the kiss but his throat burned in shame at the thought of his own son not liking him. He didn't think he was being that bad of a father but maybe Atom was acting like this because he didn't trust him or something. Sure, he'd pulled at Kyra's hair too but...it was different. Crash scratched the back of his head and forced a smile. "Right. I'll just...spend more time with him. That way, you can get some rest. I don't want you to have to come out here everytime something like this happens. So next time one of us is screaming or crying, I'm handling it."

Crash offered a small smile and leaned over to kiss her cheek. "Right. Get some rest...well...some more rest. Sorry again." He took Atom to his crib and settled him all in before sprawling on the couch and giving Kyra another smile.

"Love you", he called. Once Kyra was asleep, Crash walked into the bathroom, closing the door quietly behind him. He sat on the toilet, just thinking about some things that had happened the past couple of weeks. About people...and relationships...and trust. What made people act the way they did, or feel a certain way? He sighed, tilting his head back. Howcome he was always stuck trying to fix everyone else? Convince them that they're awesome people? "I'm...not even a decent person. I shouldn't be telling people anything", Crash whispered. He leaned forward then and rested his forearms on his knees.
"I'm such a hypocrite", he whispered dejectedly. "I can't...do anything for anyone..." Before he knew it, he'd fallen asleep, falling to the bathroom floor and wishing that maybe just once...he could help someone fully.

Kyra, started having a horrible dream, like her Mother's intuituon was going haywire. She shot up from bed and ran downstairs to see Atom crawling around the living room and no Crash. for some reason she started to see red "CRRRAAAAAAASSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs she thought China may have heard her. She picked up Atom and started to walk around the house "You are dead Mister!"

Hearing loud screaming, Crash jolted up from the bathroom floor only to bang his head underneath the sink. He cursed, falling down again and closing his eyes, debating ignoring Kyra and just pretending to be asleep. Nah. That was stupid. He'd just really have to knock himself out. It took five minutes to convince himself not to do that. So opening the door, Crash found a very pissed off Kyra with an adorable, innocent Atom. And he found...a lump forming on the back of his head.
"Problem?" he muttered.
