Lunch~

[Lauren Lasorda]

"I'm not picking!" she said with a laugh. "You have to choose... okay fine.. umm... um.. Mine because I don't know who's at your house right now."

[Zane Tapp]

"Yours it is then," he said, turning down the left road and gunning it. Within minutes they had arrived outside her house. "I say we make a run for it," he said as he pulled the key out of the ignition, cringing when the heater turned off as well.

Lauren bit her lip and nodded. "I'll race you," she said, opening her door. "On the count of three, k? One..." She took off running for the door, laughing.

[Zane Tapp]

"Heeey!" Zane shouted, running after her as fast as he could. He caught her around the waist just before reaching the door. "You cheated," he stated, laying his chin on her shoulder.

"You still caught me," she pointed out, giggling as she tried to get free of his grip.

[Zane Tapp]

He released her with a shiver, remembering he was shirtless. "Hurry, go inside," he rushed.

She jogged to the door and unlocked it with a key, but closed the door on him with a smirk, holding it closed but it was open just a crack.

Zane wedged his foot into the crack, pushing it open a bit despite her attempts to keep him out. "Do you want me to catch a cold?"

"Maybe," she teased.

[Zane Tapp]

He held back a groan and shoved against the door, getting it open a bit more. Pushing himself halfway through, he stood half ina nd half out of the house. "Please," he said with a sigh, well aware of the dangerous position of his area.

She smirked, pushing the door so it was smooshing him. "What was that?"

[Zane Tapp]

He bit his lower lip, his eyes narrowing at her. "Please," he repeated, his voice turning harder.

"Okay, okay," she said, rolling her eyes as she took a step back, letting go of the door.

[Zane Tapp]

He broke into a smile then, stepping fully into the house. "About time," he said, leaning over to kiss her cheek.

She glared at him. "You're.. unbelievable," she said, shaking her head with a little smile. "Wait did you ever get the beer?"

[Zane Tapp]

"Shit!" he cursed, slapping his hands against his sides. "I forgot it in the car!"

[Lauren Lasorda]

She laughed. "Better go get it," she sang.

[Zane Tapp]

He groaned loudly and ran out of the house, returning less than a minute later. Slamming the door shut behidn him, he brought the beer into the kitchen and set it down on the counter. "Shit it's cold," he mumbled, rubbing his hands together.

"And I have you shirt," she teased with a laugh, going over and taking a beer, snapping the cap off.

[Zane Tapp]

He looked her over as he got himself one. "About that... give it back."

[Lauren Lasorda]

She raised her eyebrows. "Um.. now?"

[Zane Tapp]

He smirked, nodding slowly as he popped off the cap and put the tip to his lips.

"But I'm cold," she protested, knowing that was a lame excuse as she took a sip of her beer as well.

[Zane Tapp]

"You have plently of other clothes to get changed into now," he reminded her.

[Lauren Lasorda]

"Oh yeah," she said, turning and walking to the steps. "Then I'll go get changed."

[Zane Tapp]

"And I'll wait here all bored," he mumbled as he leaned against the counter.

[Lauren Lasorda]

She laughed and stopped, turning. "You want me to just keep your shirt on then?"

[Zane Tapp]

He waved her off, taking another swig. "Just go get changed."

[Lauren Lasorda]

She bit her lip, not sure what to do. "You could come with me I guess," she said uncertainly. "Because now I'll feel guilty if I just leave."

[Zane Tapp]

He smirked, pushing off the counter and starting after her. "Well, don't mind if I do."
