Ryden's Palace.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He narrowed his eyes at her. "Why...would I do that? You look like a retard." But he had to admit, she looked kinda cute with her thumb in her mouth. As soon as he thought it, his eye started twitching.

[Ryden Hertz]

"It works..." She said smiling to him. "do it.." She said as she took his hand and put his thumb to the roof of his mouth.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash was too slow to protest or prevent this. What was with this girl? He just kinda stared at Ryden with a look of shock and maybe a tad bit of anger but when his brainfreeze subsided, he blinked and took his thumb out of his mouth. "It worked", he muttered in amazement, like he'd doubted her.

[Ryden Hertz]

"And again, i told you.." She laughed. "Remember that next time you have a brain freeze." She smiled and looked at him. Then around him, her hair blowing in the wind.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He slowly finished his water-ice, wondering when he started thinking this girl was...well, cool. Because she was. But he'd never admit that to anyone. Crash looked at Ryden and noticed her hair blowing around her and for some reason, it was pissing him off. He scowled and reached in his pocket, whipping out a scrunchie and tossing it to her. He wondered where he'd gotten it from and came to the conclusion of Tawni or Radica. "Do something about that. Your hair."

[Ryden Hertz]

She laughed and put it up in a messy ponytail. She still looked real cute though. She looked at him. She was don with her water-ice and she went to threw the cup away.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He stood glaring at her back, thinking about something...or...more obsessing over it. The fact that she was making him feel...weird. He didn't like it very much. "I don't understand", he muttered.

[Ryden Hertz]

"What don't you understand?" She asked looking at him with a cute and small smile. "I don't understand a lot of things.." She laughed and kept looking at him, with her beautiful big blue eyes no guy ever looked over.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He didn't look at her, knowing he would blush if he did. Crash just scowled. "Oh really? Can't possibly understand how you wouldn't get a lot of things", he said to spare himself from answering her.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Whoa.." She said frowning. "I don't think you should be mean to me.." She said shrugging.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He narrowed his eyes and turned to loom at Ryden, smirking some. "And why the hell not?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"Causeee!" She whined. then laughed lightly. "I'm not mean to you. and it's not nice to be mean.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash just stared at her for a while, his glare becoming more pronounced. "You're not mean to me? Really? God damn, you're stupid."

[Ryden Hertz]

She sighed. "Fine.." She said as she started to walk away.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He glared at her retreating form. "You're...just gonna let me call you stupid?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"What do you want me to say Crash?" She asked turning to him. "Call me stupid. I don't let names hurt me anymore.." She sighed again.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"I want you to kill me! Verbally, of course." He sized her up, letting his eyes narrow into slits as he stared at Ryden. "So what if names can't hurt you anymore? You can't just let someone get away with saying things like that."

[Ryden Hertz]

"I don't like being mean.." She said. "I told you that, being mean is not nice. and calling you a dike would be rude and mean..." She shrugged.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash rolled his eyes. "And why should that be any of your concern. You wouldn't be the one being called a dike."

[Ryden Hertz]

"Yes, but i would be calling some one a dike and that's not cool.." she said walking up to him. her face inches from his. "and way do you care if i stick up for myself. Not like it would benefit you.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

"You're right. It wouldn't. So in most cases, I wouldn't really give a damn if you stick up for yourself or not." He leaned his face closer, smirking as their lips were mere inches apart. "But it's a skill everybody needs to learn and if you don't, then you just suck."

[Ryden Hertz]

"I know how to stick up for myself.." She breathed. "I don't need to be sticking up for myself here.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Oh and why not?" Crash asked with a smirk. Her breath hit his face in a minty wave and he tensed. Do not jump her, do not jump her... "You so sure I'll just stop calling you names?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"No, you won't. but i think that's just how you are and i'm either going to have to live with it or not be your friend.." She started. "And i want to be your friend.." She said placeing her hand on his chest.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He looked down at her hand on his chest and blinked before smirking and gently holding her chin in one hand, tilting her face up so he could look at her. "Since you obviously don't know how this whole friend thing works, friends don't do this to other friends", he told her, indicating her hand on his chest, which he really wanted off of him because his heart was pounding. But never-the-less, he wound one arm around her waist and smirked. "Does this feel like something friends do to you?"

[Ryden Hertz]

She smiled. "Yes. This is what friends do to friends. Well my friends.. Or the ones that i have.." She sighed. "But what do you mean, you don't want to be friends.." She asked.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"...My friends too, unfortunately", he mumbled, thinking of Neil and Tawni. "And who the hell ever said I don't want to be your friend?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"well, your the one holding me. and i though you said that friends don't do this.." She said.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Uhm, I am trying to teach you valuable lessons. You're the one running your stupid hand all over my chest."

[Ryden Hertz]

"Um, My hand is not stupid.." She muttered looking down at her hand, the top of her hand leaning on his chest.
