Ryden's Palace.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He blinked at her and took a deep breath. "I. Hate. People. I...didn't really think it was something I had to repeat but ok." He sighed and sat back down on the bed. "I'm...sorry."

[Ryden Hertz]

She sighed. "No, no it's okay.." She said.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"No, no, it's not ok", he somewhat snapped. A thought came to him mind then and he blanched and looked at Ryden. "Do you...do you think maybe Tawni likes me after all? And that she's acting this way cuz she's crazy jealous?"

But what about Kyle?, he thought. Jesus Christ.

[Ryden Hertz]

"But were not doing anything. She shouldn't be jealous if she does. cause were not together or anything, were just best friends.." She sighed and looked down.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"...Well Tawni is also dumb. I don't think she entirely realizes that we're just friends...but at the same time, me and Eve started out as best friends and then...well all that shit happened, so I guess she has a right to be apprehensive and crazy..." He flopped backwards on the bed and closed his eyes. The storm outside didn't seem to be letting up at all and thunder cracked loudly in the sky.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Were not doing anything." She snapped lightly and stood infront of him. "I don't know who this Eve girl is, but were not doing what you guys did.." She looked away. "I have a boyfriend, and i love him.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

He felt himself getting annoyed and turned so he was laying on his stomach and looking at her. "I know we're not doing what me and Eve did. I know that", he snapped, more harshly than her. "And I know how you feel about Harvey, I'm just saying what I think Tawni is feeling. And I don't know what to do about it!"

[Ryden Hertz]

"Telllll her!!!" She shouted. "Tell her we are not doing anyhting!"

[Crash Bandicoot]

"And get myself killed tonight? Pssht. No thanks, I like my brains in my head." He groaned. "I'll tell her in the morning."

[Ryden Hertz]

"Man whatever.." She sighed and shook her head. She laided on the ground and sighed.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He took off his covers and pillow, dropping them on Ryden while he got up and went to straighten things out with Tawni. Better now than later, might as well get it over with. "Do you love me? If you do, just say it. Don't screw with my head", he demanded upon entering her room.

Tawni raised her eyebrows and looked over at him, her eyes tired. "Of course I love you...you're one of my be--"Shut up!" Crash snapped. Tawni did just that, looking at him but not saying anything. "You know what I mean", he growled, sitting in front of her on her bed.

He leaned closer to her, his eyes never moving. "Do...you...love...me?"

She searched his eyes and shook her head. "No." Crash growled and pressed his lips against hers, Tawni's eyes widening in shock. She was completely stunned. Not even a minute into the kiss, Tawni kneed him in the balls as hard as she could and kicked him out of her room, leaving Crash screaming on the floor.

[Ryden Hertz]

Ryden sighed and walked over to him. "What happened?" She asked looking down at him.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash shut his eyes in pain. "She...she...kneed me! She's so full of it!" He whined and complained about it, not moving.

"Oh wow.." She whispered and kneeled down to look at him. "Are you okayy?"

[Crash Bandicoot]

He was panting but still managed to jerk his head up to her in a piercing glare. "WHAT?!" he snapped harshly.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Ytofjdie... I'm sorry.." She said and sat next to him.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash tried getting up but found that he couldn't and just lifted his head but when that proved to be tiring, he let his head fall on Ryden's lap. "You didn't do anything", he mumbled. "Tawni? Yeah. She did something." He started whining random noises like a child.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Crash!" She said smacking his head lightly. "Get a hold of yourself.." She laughed lightly. "I'll be fine.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

Sighing, Crash nodded and closed his eyes. "Tonight was screwed. Let's just go to sleep..."

[Ryden Hertz]

"Kay.." She whispered and stood. "Goodnight." She whispered and kissed his head. "and thanks for everything you did today... you know.. for me.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

He blushed a little, glad that it was dark in the room. "You don't have to say thanks, kiddo...I'd do it again. Always. You know that, right?" When his blush started spreading, Crash scowled and turned so his back was facing her.

[Ryden Hertz]

She looked around him and smiled lightly. "I do now. And i'm greatful foreverything you do for me.." She whispered, knowing she was cring.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Noticing the slight change in her voice, he turned back around to her. "Ryden? You alright?" He moved closer to her and put a hand to her cheek as a tear spilled on his hand. He looked at her in worry. "Hey..."

[Ryden Hertz]

She looked down. "No, no it's fine.. I'm fine.." She whispered and whiped her tears away.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"...The water on my finger begs to differ", he mumbled.

[Ryden Hertz]

She sighed. "Why are you my friend?" She whispered looking away. "I'm not a good friend.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

He rolled his eyes and sighed lightly. "What the hell makes you say that? I obviously like you, for one thing. And you are a good friend...where's all this coming from?" He just looked at her, not wanting to force her to look at him.

[Ryden Hertz]

"I just..." She sighed and looked at his hands. "Other people don't like me.. Why do you?"

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Well maybe I can see past all the bull that people do and want to try to get to know them better than how they act on the outside...you're a good person, Ryden." He sighed and leaned against the backboard of the bed. "I obviously have fun with you. You're my friend, do I seriously need to go on?" he whined.

She looked down, sliding down the side of the bed. "I guess not.."
