Ryden's Palace.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Five minutes passed and he looked over at Ryden to see how she was holding up, smirking. "Well?" he asked, waving the money in her face. "Do you get this or not?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"Yea, the hell i doo!" She whispered and took it from his hand. She then got up and walked out of the movies. She didn't want to be in there anymore. So instead of walking, she ran down the steps and out.,

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash raised his eyebrows as he watched her speed off and out of the room. He rolled his eyes, smirked, then got up and followed her out. "Ryden", he somewhat whined. "It's not over yet!"

[Ryden Hertz]

She was sitting at the bottom of the ramp out of the movies. "You can go in there.. I don't want to watch it.." She whispered.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Jesus Christ", he snapped to himself. He felt the need to comfort her all of a sudden, that he really shouldn't have tricked her like that. Rolling his eyes yet again, he sat down beside her. "Why the hell would I just leave you out here alone? I don't want you to get jumped by some prostitutes or somethin'."

[Ryden Hertz]

"I can take care of myself.." She muttered. She liked the face that he didn't leave her.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He glanced over at her, then down at the street. "So...you want me to leave? To go back inside, is that it?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"No, i want to be with you.." She said not looking up at him. "But you want to watch the movie.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

He kind of just stared at her for a while, debating some things in his mind before he finally sighed and tilted his head back, looking up at the sky. "I guess I could blow off the movie because you're too frickin' scared...it's no fun watching by yourself." Crash closed his eyes as the wind moved his hair around. "We could just sit here and talk...or do something else."

[Ryden Hertz]

She finally looked athim and smiled. "Um, we could do something else.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash nodded and got up. "Follow me and don't ask questions." He started to walk off, forgetting about his car and shot Neil a quick text to come and pick it up.

She shurgged and followed Crash. she was going to ask him where they were going but he said NO questions and she didn't want to upset him.

Soon, they had entered a dark forest. Owls hooted from everywhere and there was the hiss of some snakes. Crash kept his head turned from Ryden because he knew he had a huge grin on his face and he didn't want to give anything away.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Um, why are there snakes around here. I'm not fond of snakes.." She whispered.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He smirked. "Yeah, I doubt they like you a whole lot either." He suddenly dropped to his knees, then was laying on his stomach when he saw a space they had to crawl through to get to the other side. "You have to crawl through this part. Come on." Crash started to crawl his way through. "And try not to lift your head, bugs live in the dirt."

[Ryden Hertz]

She did as she was told, not willingly. "Ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew..." She said the whole through.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He rolled his eyes and restrained himself from turning around to rip her head off her body. Once he got to the other end, Crash stepped out into a wide clearing, grinning as it was almost pitch-black outside but the sky and all around them lit up with random lights flashing on and off.

She got out and smiled at the sceen. "This is amazing.." She said under her breath as she touched the tree trunk's with the tips of her fingers.

[Crash Bandicoot]

Crash nodded and let one of the lights rest on his fingers. "The fireflies make this place so damn awesome", he muttered, grinning softly at the bug on his finger before holding it out to Ryden. "You're not freaked out by this thing, are you?" he asked mockingly, reffering to how she went 'ew ew ew ew ew' while they walked through.

She smiled to the little bug. "No. Here, in this place, they don't bother me at all." She smiled up to the sky. She really liked this place. It was beautiful. "Um, Crash, why did you take me, of all people, here?" She asked.

[Crash Bandicoot]

"What do you mean?" he asked, climbing one of the trees until he was way high up. "I wanted to hang out with you here. I mean it's nice to just sit and talk every once in a while. And if you don't think so, you can just get the fuck out my forrest."

[Ryden Hertz]

"I wasn't saying that. I like it here. Alot. It makes me feel like, like.." She sighed not being able to get her words out. She sat in the dirt and dug her hands into the dirt. She sighed again and didn't look up at him.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He smirked as he looked down at her, resting against a branch of the tree. "Like a stuttering idiot?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"Shut up.." She growled loudly. "Why are you so rude. I mean you don't know me. you can't tell me i had a good life. Beacuse you don't know me.." She said standing up. "I don't loke it when you say shity things to me.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

"Uhm, isn't that supposed to be my line?" he snapped. "There's a million reasons why I'm the way I am, why don't we spin a bottle and pick one? My child is dead. There. I'd say that's a pretty good reason why I'm so fuckin' rude."

He hopped down from the tree, trying not to show his discomfort as pain shot up his foot and he walked towards Ryden. "But I didn't drag you out here so we could share secrets about our past. I figure you'll just tell me when the time is right, or if you even feel comfortable doing so. So don't you dare go around saying I don't know you, Ryden. Even if it is true."

[Ryden Hertz]

Her face started to get red. "Um, i can say whatever the hell i want to say Crash. I'm not about to let another guy control again. It's that happening. So, don't try to tell me not to say something.." She steped closer to him. "you may think i'm afriid of you," She started getting close to his face. "But the truth of the matter is, i'm not.."

[Crash Bandicoot]

He stepped closer to her so their faces were closer as well. "You should be afraid", he growled, looking down at her. "What's wrong with you?"

[Ryden Hertz]

"What's wron-" She asked looking at him confused. "i didn't do anything, You. I'm not going to be afraid of another guy. Not now. Not again. so i'm not going to be afraid. Never.." She growled too, her breath like fire on his face.

[Crash Bandicoot]

He let his face work its' way into a smile and rested his hand on top of Ryden's head. "Well good for you, kid. I'm glad to hear it. Now come on. What are you doin' standin' around in the middle of a frickin' forrest? It's about lunch time." Crash started to walk off.

[Ryden Hertz]

"Crash, you confuse me soooooo muchh!" She laughed lightly and followed behind him.
