He took Eve's hand and led her inside the aquarium that was connected to the zoo. Once inside, he leaned against one of the tanks where a huge shark was looking at him. "He tried to kill me. That reason enough for ya?"

She looked at him a little shocked and scared. "he... wait what? how? when? where? wait what?" she asked. She was unsure if she had heard him correctly. Sure maybe Neil was a little loppy and silly at times, but she would have never guessed something like that. "Crash?"

He sighed and closed his eyes. "A long time ago...when we were little, he threw a switchblade at my neck...I never told you but that's where this scar came from." Crash lifted his chin up so that the scar running the width of his neck was visible. He lowered his neck and spoke again. "And more recently...about a month ago, I apparently pissed him off, so he left me outside in below freezing weather when it was raining..."
Crash scowled and turned to lean his head against the tank, looking at the Great White shark.

His face brightened considerably at the mention of ice-cream and followed Eve out. It felt nice...just hanging out with her like this again. Crash went to a vendor and pulled out some cash--and a helluva lot. $2,000 worth. He looked back at Eve with a smirk. "I'll buy. Whatcha want?"

He pursed his lips and waved his wad of cash in her face. "Because I'm rich? But you've got a point..." Crash thought back to all the times he'd offered to get Eve something...and not even expensive things most of the time, just small ones. And she'd refused every one. He shook his head and just bought for him and Mason.
Crash looked at her and shook his head as he licked his butterscotch. "Whatever. You're loss."

Hearing the unmistakable tone of Kyra's voice, Crash stiffened and wanted to kill himself. Why had he taken Eve and Mason to a zoo in the first place?! That had to be one of the most commom tourist traps ever. But...she was with a girl...who was really young. He narrowed his eyes and waited to see if Kyra would notice him while his mind thought about what he should do.

"Hi Sophie!" Mason said. Crash's eyes widened some, a whole whirl of thoughts going through his mind. He started shaking. Oh God, Kyra had cheated on him...and for how long?! This Sophie kid seemed older than Aerycha would have been. And if so, with who?! Did she really like that Brett kid after all?! Or...maybe she knew about him technically cheating on her and came over to rub this girl in his face. And if that was the case then he figured he deserved it but...Crash started shaking, breathing heavily and hyperventillating. "What...who...Kyra, you?!..." He gasped for breath.
