"My cat. I found her and Avery named her for me. She's not a bad cat though. The name is supposed to be ironic or something." he said with a laugh and started climbing down. "coming?" he asked.

He got to the ground and helped her down. Then they both went inside and Joey filled a small bowl filled with cat food for the kitten. A few meows were heard and behind Eve was a small black kitten purring against her leg. "Hey, she likes you."

The kitten purred more. "I found her and cleaned her up the best I could. Took her to the vet and everything." He said and placed the food dish on the floor. "She's sweet but can be very frisky."

"Oh hey, you wanna check out my attic? I only lasted about a minute up there. It's pretty creepy, but there are so many weird things up there. Makes me feel like I'll find a Jumanji board up there." he said chuckling a little.

She looked at him."that would be awesome!!! lets go!!!!" she took his hand and began to walk but then remembered she didnt know her way around his house. "maybe you should lead the way..."

He laughed. "Yeah, maybe you're right." he said and led her upstairs and as they passed his room he grabbed something from his bed and put it on his head after also grabbing a flashlight. He pulled on a cord that was connected to the ceiling and a ladder pulled down. He tipped his Indiana Jone's hat up and smirked. "Ladies first!~"

she looked at him and smirked. "Niceeee" she palyfully rolled her eyes and walked up the steps. "can i see that flashlight of yours?"

He handed her the flashlight and climbed up behind her. Once they were up there a few creaks were heard and some rustling towards the back.

Eve pointed the flashlight towards the noise. "what was that?" she asked as she walked towards it.

He walked behind watching each step he took. "I don't know!.." he said becoming freaked out. A shadow ran through the light of the flashlight. "Oh my god! I think this place is haunted!"

'No such thing..no such thing..' he muttered in his mind and followed her. There was a light switch some where around. Joey put his hands to the walls to try and feel for the switch. He found something and flicked it, only for something to fall right on top of him.
"AH! Get it off!!" he yelled under the big blanket that fell over him, trying to throw it off.

He ran his hands through his hair quickly to remove the remaining dust from the blanket. "Oh..I knew that.." he said with a sheepish grin.
"Most of this stuff was already here when I first moved in." he said as he rummaged through an old box. "Hey look. There are some old toys in here. Reeeaaaalllyy old toys." he said as he pulled out an old tattered doll with an eye missing and most of the hair gone.
"Ew...that doesn't look to appealing.."

She laughed. "looks like one of my old dolls..." she said as she looked in the old box to see what else was in there. she pulled out a small car. "was this your?' she asked as she turn the little wheel.

He dropped the doll back into the box and looked at the car she was holding.
"Hmm, it could be? I've had a lot of toys. Especially the remote controlled ones. In fact I've got two in my closet. They need new batteries though. We could try em' out outside if you'd like."

"Great come on!" he said and dropped the toy car back into the box and made his way back towards the ladder that led back to the hall outside his room.
"I just need to get some batteries." he said and rummaged through his dresser grabbing a half opened pack. He found the two cars and replaced the battery. Then held out both. One was blue with two white stripes along the top and the other was yellow with two black stripes along the top. "Which one do you want?" he asked.

"Then I'll take the blue!" he said and gave her the yellow car along with it's remote. "Let's take them outside." he said and walked down the stairs and outside with her behind him. He walked out to the empty street and turned on the switch on the bottom of the car and put it to the ground. Then he took the remote and started making the car drive in circles.

She did the same but instead of making it go in circles she keeped driving the car onto Joey's foot. She giggled every time it hit him.

He picked up his foot and hopped over the car. "Hey. I should give you a ticket for reckless driving." he said with a grin and made his car drive towards Eve.
